Today's experience at LaunchPad was fun in the beginning, but as it became busier it became less enjoyable. Today's review is based solely on what I experienced.
From first impression, I was excited and in awe from the size of the location and what was available at the time! There was a VERY large blow up play area which included 2 slides and a jump area. There was a very large basic jump area which features trampoline walls and platforms. There was also a basketball, dodge-ball, foam pit, orbiter machine and a "air pillow" style of trampoline which was very fun!
My family was enjoying our time until it became much busier and other children were doing very risky behavior. Jumping onto others, over others, careless and blind 'jumping' leads to injury from others which causes conflict in the business.
There were two workers, a younger male and a younger female, standing next to the basketball trampoline/ orbiter for the 1 hour I was jumping. During this time, these workers were observed sitting on the floor, laughing and flirting with each other, truly focused on only each other and engaged in conversations that caused their focus to be else where instead of the features of the trampoline park.
With this being said, dangerous behavior was occurring, children in the orbiter were preventing the machine from spinning, children on the trampolines were jumping 3 at a time into the air pillow, a child got kicked in the face when this happened, other children were forcing the younger ones to wait and cutting in line constantly. These workers did not engage in any supervision of the park, did not move from their position or observe any children whatsoever. These workers also have whistles on hand, which was observed when a "change over" occurred and the female and younger male went to work the concession stand. This newer supervisor of the park within minutes, blew his whistle when he noticed bad behavior and corrected the child. This worker was than observed moving around and talking to other children about safety. This is how supervision should be .
Now I understand that accountability for one's own children is the parents responsibility, but if the establishment is providing workers to be on the floor, observing the park for dangerous behavior and orderly fashion of the orbiter, than engaging with the customers and or children when something occurs needs to happen.
All in all, I had a great time, but I truly disliked that the establishment provided someone to "observe" the park and instead, they were flirting and sitting...

So I got a call from the owner a few days after I posted my review. It was very refreshing to know that my review was taken seriously and dealt with too. She was polite, understood my concern and also mentioned that such reviews help them in a constructive way which was good to hear.
We got free passes for our kids for the next visit as a goodwill gesture, something that we did not intend but appreciate. We hope to see the changes in our next visit and enjoy the place to its capacity. Updating the review to 4 star.
This was our third visit but honestly contemplating whether I should go next time or not. We visited on the remembrance day holiday so expected a large crowd. I was standing at the counter with my sister who was paying for her daughter. I had already filled the waiver form online so was just waiting to pay for my daughters but the gentleman at the counter just left right after he served my sister without acknowledging me at the counter. He was the assistant manager?!
Then, there were no checks for people walking around in shoes all over. A drunk man was jumping on the large area of the trampoline at the far end, almost knocking kids out but none of the staff noticed. At one point, he ran past me and my toddler and I smelled strong alcohol on him yet nobody took notice. We informed one of the staff about him as he was entering all the play areas in that condition. The staff said she will keep an eye on him but nothing more! Disappointed as this was one of our favourite places to visit but no enforced regulations and unclean environment makes it...

From my daughters name being spelt wrong on the name sign, to having no one check in periodically over the 2 1/2 hr span, having to ask for drinks and ice, then seeing that the loot bags were a loot of awful.. one Frisbee... a beach ball, the drawstring bag it came in and a coupon for 20% off?! Dollar store items... I'm so glad I decided to make candy bags to add in or I would of been so embarrassed! Heck Most of them were missing a simple sugar stick, I had to ask the front desk for some. They were a complete after thought for sure! I definetly do not reccomend the platinum package what so ever! The room was nice if you like a boardroom generic feel but that's about it. Bring your own decorations.. I found the place was way overcrowded with parties plus just regular walk ins, it wasn't the cleanest and could definetly do better with staff not trying to cut the party short because they 'need the room'.. tough... we paid for the full time and I intended on staying that full time. Perhaps leaving 15-30 min increments in-between party bookings to better make the process smoother and giving that time to 'clean'. The foam pit is all worn down, blocks disintegrating, mats were dirty.. Just overall an experience I feel that was just an absolute complete money wasted......
