**Updated: The response from the owner is laughable. Based on their other responses, they clearly are very hostile towards customer feedback. Yes, you are allowed to have a ludicrous rule in place, it doesn't make it any more legitimate. How on earth can you justify a pretentious rule that bars families from making big financial decisions? As I mentioned in my review, here's to hoping your stay in the Burloak Plaza is extremely short-lived and another, better run, more customer-centric organization takes over and thrives.
AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST. Pretentious beyond measure. The plaza has other high-quality furniture stores in it (Urban Barn, Structube). Similarly priced, but way more friendly and customer centric.
I was shopping for a sectional for our new home, my wife was sick so I was hoping to send her photos so we could decide together. When youāre spending 3-4k on a piece of furniture, itās important to get the input of both people. You can't just decide on a whim. The sales lady informed me I could not send my wife photos. Apparently, I may try and get knock off versions of her furniture made.
Well I have never ever been told by a furniture store that I couldnāt take photos. It doesnāt make you exclusive, or bougieā¦it makes you pretentious and gross. Congratulations on losing my business, I will gladly spend that money at any other furniture store in the plaza who respects the decision making process families make when spending their hard earned money.

We bought 8 chairs and coffee tables at floor sale with my friends. We were charged in cash but were not told that it was not returnable. The top of one of the coffee tables dropped and one side was broken a little when one of their staff was trying to help us to upload to our vehicle. We wanted our refund but was told that they couldnāt take it back because there was fault now and they couldnāt sell it again anymore. They also lied that that staff was not belonging to furniture ville. We had no choice but to leave.
The next day when I called in to return another table that my daughter did not like it. Staff Renu said as long as there is no quality issue, I could take it back and get the refund or exchange to a different one. She asked me to call back two weeks later as they were busy with moving. When I called 2 weeks later they tried to hide from me. When I Finally got Sunny, he refused to do the refund. He also mentioned that Renu never said that. Either one of them is lying. Sunny kept commenting that their furnitures quality is not like Chinese bad quality, which is vey disappointing.
I am so disappointed about this shop. I am not sure how a business can grow bigger with these dishonest and disrespectful staff. Perhaps they donāt care at all. But I am not going back again and donāt recommend you...

We were not told that it had been refurbished on one side to cover a stain until we received the product and noticed the coating on the leather was cracking. The salesman also promised that we would receive the sofa in a clean condition, however it was sent to us with a number of stains on it. The store did not do much to help us out - all they did was provide a basic leather cleaning product and said to clean it ourselves with an apology. Furthermore, they were unresponsive when we asked them to follow up on the warranty surrounding the refurbishment treatment. The salesman told us that it was a floor model and purchased as-is and that we already received a good price on it, so there was nothing they would do. We were disappointed overall. On a positive note, the sales staff is friendly and pleasant to deal with but they wont do much for you once you have purchased...
