I loathe this company and the fact they are basically the only outfit in town. I go there when I have no other options. Getting help is a joke. But today they've infuriated me. I found a Samsung on sale ($500 off), on line. Of course, I quickly purchased it. Upon checking out, I changed my address. Yesterday they attempted to deliver to the old address and have returned it to sender. Today, calling them because of course there are none left, they refuse to honour the price from a purchase three days ago! Add to it the joy of the overseas call center! Best Buy, a JOKE!
I am revising my review from a 1 to a 3. I wish it didn't require multiple people within multiple countries (finally getting Canada!) to resolve this. They did end up honouring the discount for the phone. Best Buy needs to do a deep dive into the lack of customer care people are getting overseas. The wage savings are huge. Read moreI’ve visited this store twice now, and both times I was treated with unacceptable rudeness. The most recent visit was on May 28 around 5 PM, and the service I received was extremely disappointing. I’m not sure who the staff member was, but he made me feel like I wasn’t welcome, completely ignoring me and acting as if I didn’t belong there. His attitude was disrespectful and unprofessional, as if I were a problem instead of a customer. Unfortunately, I experienced this same treatment a few months ago from (what I believe was) the same person. I don’t know if he’s a supervisor or technician, but his behavior reflects very poorly on the store. Someone with that attitude is a liability to the customer experience, not an asset. Read moreThis week I decided it was time for me to upgrade my phone considering I’m like 5 generations behind lol I went to bestbuy mobile in Devonshire and immediately was greeted and asked how I could be helped. It was a bit of a process of course but I was treated like a person and not just a customer. We went over what the plans would be and how much everything would come to for the phone I wanted. I was told to take however long I need to decide (mind you my mind was already made up at this point😂). Once everything was confirmed and signed we had a couple laughs and my friend and I were on our way!
