This store has some of the best assets in the world; dedicated and passionate employees! Everyone knows what Chess is, but if you ask someone for a game of Go they're going to look at you confused and ask what that is. The employees here know what Go is, try it out, they also have a wide selection of personal knowledge on what is offered in the store, and are passionate about not only the items they sell but teaching and informing others about the various items. That aside, which I think deserves a 6/5, they keep professional. I have personally witnessed two of their employees be verbally abused over the phone then 20 minutes later verbally abused by the same individual in person for something that is beyond their control. Not once did I see them lose their cool and become heated. They kept calm and professional which is amazing. As a local youth counsellor I love recommending this store, as it gets the kids away from screens, and doing some good old board games or card games, not to mention that the employees are so passionate that they know some of the newer games that have different twists on the classics, such as Hive. Don't buy games here worst place to shop for board games. Firstly their prices are not competitive and they don't price match. I had the worst experience buying a game there. The board game was defective so I went back to get a refund they told me they can only do exchanges. Every single box they opened at the store was also defective so I couldn't get the game I wanted. They still won't give me a refund seeing all the games out of the box were defective. They were adamant that I could only get a store credit. Terrible experience here as I posted 2 months ago. Here we go again, I recieved a game as a gift (smash Up expansion) and already have it. I just want to exchange it for another, I called the store they will not exchange it without a receipt. I buy games from boardgamebliss, 401games and LVL-UP games any one of these stores will exchange without a receipt and refund full amount with a receipt up to 90 days.
