I came to this Lindt location a couple weeks ago and it was my first time at Lindt, upon entering I was greeted by a young man and offered me a sample, which I gladly accepted, I began to browse around and had some questions about their table deals, I was talking to the young man when someone (who I later learned is the manager) interrupted us and began re-telling me the deals which I found was incredibly rude for a manager to just butt into someone’s conversation halfway through, I expected the employee to be shocked however, he didn’t seem to be which makes me think this “manager” often interrupts his employees. He also
Offered me another sample which I declined, I felt as though the manner he was giving it quite rude, shaking it in-front of my face, as if I were a dog, and just saying chocolate especially compared to how politely the other staff member had offered me the chocolate, unfortunately Dave was the employee I dealt with for the reminder of my time there.
I Would recommend this location, as long as the rest of the employees aren’t like...
Read moreI was treated poorly today after stopping in with my two kids. We took advantage of the 75 chocolates for $28 - which is amazing deal. My daughter and I meticulously decided and counted 5 at a time of each flavour we wanted and made sure to get all varieties. We counted exactly 75 then went to the cash register. The clerk weighed it and stated we were over. I told her I counted exactly 75 and she responded with “ not everyone knows how to count”. It was rude and belittling. I told her that we do know how and she can count them cause we didn’t even add one extra. She followed up with “ well you must not know how to count and you can count them when you’re home if you’re so sure”. I should have left and forgone the delicious treat but was shocked at how badly a customer service person would behave, especially here. I did count them - exactly 75, shouldn’t second guessed myself. I will think twice before attending again since I don’t need chocolate with a side of...
Read moreThis place used to be good and we normally shop a lot, like in kilos during Christmas. This year we went and purchased four boxes of Lindor truffles. It is a big surprise that they now start to charge money for the plastic bags, which is ok and I get it for environment protection. However, why we have to use boxes for 150 Lindor? Can I not get three plastic bags for them? The cashier apparently lack of basic arithmetic skills and cannot weigh the Lindor without the boxes. Like they have to weigh 150 Lindor with the box, 100 Lindor with a plastic bag of its size, 75 Lindor with another plastic bag of its size. This might also be the company Lindt lack of consideration to its loyal customers. If you have a price for certain number of Lindor truffle chocolates, you should allow customer to choose how they want to pack and the gift package...
