I’ve had açai in smoothies before but they were just addition to a smoothie. This was my first real experience having an açai bowl fresh with ingredients surrounding it as the main star. When I came inside the store I was met with a women who introduced the fruit to me and even gave me a sample so I can try and wow! I was so amazed!!! It had a gelato consistency but way way healthier! I knew I had to get the açai bowl to try! I love it! There are so many toppings to add and the açai is layered in between! She helped us pick the ingredients to match what we like and when we were unfamiliar with certain ones she would give us a small sample so we can pick the right ingredients to build a perfect açai bowl! Good taste but obnoxiously priced. A 350ml small bowl is priced at 13$ with barely any toppings, a medium for 16$. It's a good treat, but sadly, the price would be a big discouraging factor. I liked this place for its service previously when the owners really were passionate and made all the difference, but that changed too for the worse on my recent visit. My new service was a young girl who seemed sassy and unfriendly, who just was rushing through and stacked my bowl with acai majorly without any proper layers of the toppings I requested. I won't mind going there again, but only if I see the owners being in the shop because I know they care, not everyone else...
