The products are overpriced. It’s actually way cheaper to buy many snack at Daiso just downstairs. And near Superstore at a place called Big Crazy. I usually don’t mind because I’m too lazy to go to many places just for snack, but because of the horrible customer service I receive I decided to never go there again.

I got into an argument with the cashier. Which ruined my mood for the entire day.

I went there to buy candies. I give the cashier a $100 bill ask for no bag. As I was waiting for change, I realized I do need a bag. I looked at the sign on the counter which says “bag =5 cents”. I know he calculated the change total already, so I smiled at him and took out an extra 5 cents from my wallet and pass it to the cashier and told him that I changed my mind and would like a bag, and I just needed a small one for the instant noodle I’m buying. The cashier angrily told me I couldn’t have a bag because it would be 5 cents extra! I told him “but I just gave u a 5 cents”. He said no, if I wanted a bag my total would be 5 cents extra! I was like “I give u $100.05 and my total was $9.10 or something. Surely u can deduct the price of a bag from the $100.05 I just give u.” Then he keep repeating “the bag is 5 cents extra. I have to pay 10 cents not 5 cents.” and I was like “ok, I just give u a 5 cents for the bag, can u deduct the change from the $100 I paid for the candies I’m buying, and use this 5 cents I just handed over to give me a bag.” But he kept repeating “You need to pay 10 cents, you need to pay 10 cents!” And I end up keep telling him “I paid u $100. You can’t deduct the price of a bag from that?” The way he acted and the way he glared at me was like I was trying to steal money from him. Finally I lost my temper and started to raise my voice. Then we started to yell at each other and I ended up returning everything and vowed to never shop there again.

Good selection but some items are pricier than at other shops. On the other hand, they sometimes also list product at a lower price than others.. So really just need to be aware if you care about getting the best deal on everything. Staff service is inconsistent. Sometimes very good...
