I am very thrilled I went to Leon’s to look for a couch!!!

I have been looking for a couch for a month, was having no luck finding anything in my budget and preference of couch either. Nothing really was perfect. I went to other stores where the customer service rep’s follow behind you to try and get a sale or push a sale of a couch. I loathe being followed around and not being able to test on my own or think on my own without any pushy sales. I was hesitant going to Leon’s, however, I had Sid R assist me and he did the opposite of other stores. He introduced himself, told me if I needed help to let him know and he would. And he backed off!! He didn’t hover, he didn’t try to upsell me anything, he didn’t try to talk too much to confuse me into buying something I didn’t need.

I found a really great couch that works for my budget, Sid helped me by explaining different types of couches, sharing his knowledge without making me feel like I’m stupid not knowing anything. Sid was respectful and courteous with explaining things, and teaching me! The couch I wanted was 4-6 weeks out because it was in AB, but because I loved the couch, I enjoyed the service at Leon’s and there was amazing sales… I went for it any ways. Sid was again, very helpful and knowledgeable in sharing to get a protection plan on the couch just in case, and helped explain the delivery process as well.

Sid was wonderful, very kind and I’m so happy he helped me. A good friend of mine recommended checking out Leon’s because she’s been a long term customer. I’m SO glad I did!! I was fortunate I only had to wait 2 weeks for delivery from AB to Victoria, and delivery as well. I’m very thankful that’s how it worked out!

The delivery workers were very kind too, they were communicative and prompt with the delivery. Both guys (didn’t get their names 🙁) were friendly, didn’t take long at all to unload and put my couch together.

10/10 experience with Leon’s, I’m thrilled I didn’t listen to my second thoughts or second guess myself because it worked...

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional Service & Fraudulent Practices at Leon

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from Leon and felt compelled to share my experience. After buying a sofa from them a few months ago, I've encountered several issues that I feel need to be addressed:

Fraudulent Financing with Landcare: Leon recommended an installment plan through Landcare, a financing company that has proven to be untrustworthy. We were charged much more than the agreed-upon amount and incurred hidden fees. Ultimately, we were forced to close the account through our bank. After doing some research, it became clear that many other customers have faced similar problems with Landcare, and I deeply regret trusting Leon’s recommendation.

Misleading Cleaning Coverage: At the time of purchase, the salesperson recommended a cleaning coverage plan for $300, especially since we have a small child. The salesperson assured us that it would cover professional sofa cleaning for 4 years. However, we recently found out that the plan only provides cleaning liquid, with no actual cleaning service provided. This was a complete misrepresentation, and I feel scammed, especially considering that I could have bought high-quality cleaning products for a fraction of the price.

Overall, my experience with Leon has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Between the deceptive financing options and misleading cleaning coverage, I feel that I was misled and taken advantage of. I will not be returning to this store and cannot recommend it to others. I strongly encourage potential customers to be cautious before making any purchases at Leon. If I Could, I’d Give...

The GF and I were on the hunt for a new fridge a while back and that's what drew us into the Leon's - and what we found inside was way better than any appliance - I was surprised at how much I liked a lot of the furniture, not to mention the sales people, the layout of the store, the prices, and the overall feeling of the place. Pleasantly surprised. Though we did not end up making a purchase at that first visit, the really nice full length mirror I saw there did make an impression. Some days later after many discussions with the better half, back we went to Leon's with the intent of buying that mirror - unfortunately it was no longer on the floor being displayed. Then we met Sara, the most friendly and nicest sales girl I think that there is anywhere. She knew the mirror we were talking about and said that we could still order it, tho it'd take four or so weeks to get it in. Done! I left Andrea talking with Sara while I went around and tested all the comfy chairs (which are nice too), and was struck that by the time we were leaving, it sure seemed like Andrea and Sara had been friends for years - really funny, but no matter as long as I get my awesome mirror. Then the pinnacle to this story (review) - Sara calls and tells Andrea that the mirror is in and that she will deliver it to us when she is done working for that day - and so she did! Talk about going above and beyond even the highest of expectations. She was so nice and store has such nice furniture that there is no doubt in my mind that we will be back for more, not to mention that I talk up Leon's to anyone who will listen to me now. Thank you very much to Leon's Furniture...
