I've had nothing but issues dealing with this store. Had a fairly expensive ring made that had some issues. When taken in for repair it came back with the setting very different (raised and twisted). I had to argue and prove with photos that's was not how my ring was set in order to have it corrected.
Since then, I've taken my ring in for yearly checks. Each time the teller needs to inspect further as they suspect issues with some of the stones because of the poor craftsmanship with the original cast.
My last experience has made me decide not to return.....I went in for my yearly check (same story as above) and decided to leave my rings to have a sizing after the inspection was completed and cleared. The clerk tried to convince me of a certain size but I went with my gut and ask for a 1/4 size bigger than her suggestion. I was asked to sign multiple papers stating they are not responsible if something where to happen to my ring during repair. I was uncomfortable (mainly because of my first experience) and asked for clarification on what I was signing. A more senior clerk came to explain to me that this was just policy and assured me she had just checked (and signed off the it was in good state). She also assure me the goldsmith always checks the rings before starting work and would not start work if he felt the ring was not up for the repair. I proceeded to sign and left my ring for repair.
Approximately 1 week later I get a call asking if I'd like to pay a $20 fee to have the goldsmith check the ring before starting the repair in order to guarantee nothing goes wrong during the repair! I was shocked, left feeling that they do not have the confidence to repair a ring. I spoke to the manager who assured me they'd check the ring without cost. I made it clear to him I have no issues with the cost of the repair but having a patron have to sign so many docs and they to have someone call a week later also trying to have an insurance on the ring really puts doubts in the patrons mind on how confident they're employees are....they made my ring, they inspect my ring yearly, and they just inspected and signed off everything was good when I left the ring. WTF?!
when I picked up the ring it was in good repair although very snug. More snug than I like. The staff are obviously not well trained and management is not confident in their craftsmanship.

I chose Spicer because I really wanted my ring to be from a local jeweler. I noticed she didnāt write any of the details down and quite frankly, doesnāt seem interested in what I had to say. Instead, she showed me rings in-store that she thought I might like (I knew that was coming and didnāt mind at all). She sized my finger, let me try on some rings and actually did take care of me. However, between all of that, I kept telling her I know what I want and made clear that I donāt want any other ring but she kept insisting on showing me pieces that she thought would āchange my mindā. Finally, I decided to put my foot down and politely asked that we continue talking about the design that I want (a simple emerald cut stone on a plain band). I was looking to purchase a unique and specific Pandora bracelet and charm that I hoped, but didn't expect them to have in stock.
In an effort to limit unnecessary exposure at public locations, I called first to enquire if they had what I was looking for. Tara answered and put me on a brief hold to check their inventory. She came back on the line, described the items I was looking for, and said that they did. Thrilled, I told her I would be right there.
When I arrived, the items were waiting and the transaction was fast and without issue. It was gift wrapped, and I was advised could be exchanged if it wasn't the correct size.
Most excellent service. Plus I got to support a local business and avoided the shipping fees had I made the purchase at the online Pandora store.
