First, I would like to say the customer service is very good. The workers are knowledgeable and polite. My problem came after the sale. My fiancee and I attended our local store to purchase my engagement ring and his wedding band. We spent a significant amount for us, given the economy. We purchased what we could be comfortable with. We were told that since ring needed to be sized. It would be 4-6 weeks. This seemed to be a while but that was fine. We are going to be at 5 weeks on Tuesday Oct 31st. When I called for an update I was told that my ring was not even at the inspection stage yet and it would now be 6-8 weeks! And likely closer to 8. I emailed back asking if we could speed up the process and even would settle for a smaller size and have it sized locally were I could have things done quicker. With still no response, my fiancee was then called and told the exact same thing I was and an apology for the miscommunication. The ring we purchased was on sale and I fear that others are going to have the same experience. This is very frustrating and I have offered solutions and got no response and someone else was called. I am going to think twice in the future before making any other purchases here. Update from today, We have been waiting 9 weeks today. We were told it was at headquarters. The manager was going to have it shipped overnight to her store then the Thanksgiving weekend happened. We expected it this week. today we are told MAYBE it will be here by next weds.    Read moreI had went in to the store about 2 weeks before Christmas to order a ring for Christmas, they said that it would be ready in time. I had taken a picture of the ring in the display so I could show my mom what she would be picking up. When my mother had gotten the call to pick the ring up, they had said that they had gotten the diamonds wrong but to bring it home and that they would be able to send it off to get fixed after Christmas. Once my mother got it home and I had opened it, we had realized that they had lied to us, they never shipped it off to get ready, instead they gave us the one in the display counter. We had went in two days after Christmas and put in a complaint about it. They had said they would send it away and get ready. I went in to check my ring a few days ago and they had said that they were having a difficult time with the diamonds. Now these people are a jewelry store it is their job to work with diamonds, so that was a terrible excuse/lie that they had fed to us again. Now they had told us it would be ready the following week. I had went in to check the status of it again and it is still not in. now I had preordered this ring 2 weeks before Christmas of 2016, it is now 3 weeks into 2017 and I still have not gotten my ring.    Read moreI'd like to take a few minutes to express my appreciation for Norma at the Sault, Ontario store. She goes above and beyond for her customers. I have had some issues with my engagement ring set (that her and I made together) and Norma was there every step of the way. She accepted that things were not as I wished and acted so professionally with so much grace to ensure that my rings were the way I wished for them to be. This last time I went to get my rings, she noticed that they were not perfect and made sure to be transparent and inform me when I picked them up. She went out of her way to inspect my rings and noticed the quality was not perfect. Norma and her manager went above and beyond and I am very happy with the outcome.
