I am writing to express my disappointment with the service and meal I received during my recent visit to your restaurant (sorry we call it poor and simple now). Unfortunately, my experience fell far below the standards I expected, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. Firstly, the cocktails I ordered tasted like mocktails, lacking any of the expected flavors or alcohol. When I inquired about this, the excuse given was that the staff didn’t know how to use proper measurements and spices for cocktails and brand management is pushing this menu. To add to the frustration, my drink was served without straw, which further detracted from the experience. Oh sorry, straw arrived in 10 minutes. Secondly, the Eggs Benedict we ordered arrived cold, which is unacceptable for a dish that should be served hot and fresh. Additionally, I specifically requested no onions for the entire meal, but my fries arrived topped with onions, disregarding my request. I was too hungry to wait for a replacement so unfortunately I didn't touch it. Lastly, the overall service was poor, with the staff showing little attention to detail or care for the quality of the meal or customer experience. These combined issues made for a highly disappointing dining experience. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve both the food preparation and service at your restaurant. I would appreciate a response regarding how you intend to address these issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pür and Simple, a charming breakfast spot in Etobicoke. Really nice looking and impressive decor on the inside, definitely a good date spot.
First up, the Chicken and Waffles - The chicken was crispy and juicy, paired perfectly with a fluffy waffle. I appreciated the addition of potatoes on the side. However, this is where my enthusiasm took a slight dip. The potatoes, unfortunately, seemed like they had been sitting out for a while, lacking the freshness and crispiness I crave, maybe even reused since I found "pickled" onions under the potatoes when the dish did not come with any additional salad/onions.
Also ordered the "Oh La La" Crepes which was massive and well loaded with bananas and strawberries drizzled with chocolate.
The vanilla and lavender iced latte were nothing exceptional but did the job.
In conclusion, Pür and Simple is a great spot for breakfast enthusiasts, with a few minor tweaks needed to reach perfection. The waiters were a joy and always came back to ensure everything was fine. Price wise, you are looking at a $60 bill after two entrés and drinks.

Read moreUpon our arrival into this fine establishment we we welcomed by a greeting worthy of kings. Our server had the grace of a dancer mixed with an angel. She suggested a meal that was refined perfect to our taste and needs. She was funny, energetic and engaging. The food was warm and inviting like sitting by a fire on a cold autum evening. A variety of servers stopped by in a whirl of energy and laughter. There was a cornucopia of wonderful things that I could write about the wonderful service that was provided but all I can say is that she deserves a raise. Now I do part in great sorrow, only to return in hopes that one day I will be graced with the presence of this establishment.
In addition to the superb service provided, the hosts were a cornucopia of joy. Their presence elevated the entire experience to something I could only describe using the bible. In the parable of the Good Samaritan 'Luke 10:25-37: we learn that we should treat other a we wish to hi be treated. If you treated The hosts as if they treated your guests, you would have to install a throne into your front of house.
The only note I could add to enhance such a time at Pur and Simple is if I could have only caught a glimpse of the manager and their laugh that echoes...
