It was a great experience from start to finish. Efficient, professional and friendly. There was no line up and ample parking space. As for those that are nervous about the whole process, hope this helps. This is what it looked like for me: 1) Upon arrival inside the parking lot, I informed the friendly staff at the front that I had an appointment. Showed email for reference. 2) Entered the building, followed the arrows and arrived at the front desk, where I acquired a quick 1 page questionnaire to fill out. There were people around to assist with language barriers. 3) Followed the arrows and was guided to a service desk that was numbered. Upon arriving at the service desk, the health card was scanned, personal information was quickly verified and was directed to a table with two seats where my vaccine shot was later administered. Pfizer was being administered to everyone. 4) After getting the shot, I waited for 15 minutes (time is indicated on a sheet that is given post-injection) at the waiting area then checked out with a sticker and proof of vaccination. Overall, I was in and out in less than 25 minutes and enjoyed the experience throughout thanks to the wonderful volunteers and workers on the site. Stay safe and sound guys!

Went to the Toronto Congress Centre for Anime North 2024. All the space within both buildings were being used to the full capacity. There were lots of people on Saturday. I went to about 4 panels (Cohen Ballroom south building hosted 2 panels, and a sectioned off area in the north building). For the panels that I attended (all the Vtubing panels) there weren't that many people, excluding the last panel-- now that was busy (3DS Street Pass Party). The North TCC building hosted the gaming hall and other related panels, and registration. The South TCC building hosted all the vendors and merchandise. All space was effectively used. No space wasted. There were about 3 exits for the south building. Lots of people walking between the two buildings, lots of mini photo shoots and big photo shoots all around the convention, including just outside of the convention grounds (on the grass beside a TTC stop). Was a wonderful experience. This was my second time attending the convention. The convention is always hosted in the Toronto Congress Centre. Bought all of the merch that I wanted. Was very pleased with the selection of goods at the vendors (mostly anyways). Will come back again.

I recently attended the TRREB REALTOR® QUEST at the Toronto Congress Centre and was very impressed with the venue. It is incredibly spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, providing a professional and welcoming environment for large-scale events. The layout is well-designed, offering over 1 million square feet of flexible event space, including pillar-free ballrooms and numerous meeting rooms equipped with modern technology. Parking was easy and free, with over 6,000 spaces available, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for everyone. The staff was professional, and the on-site amenities, including food services led by chef Mark McEwan, were excellent. Its close proximity to Pearson Airport and major highways adds to its accessibility. Overall, the Toronto Congress Centre is a top-tier facility that delivers on every front.

Was there for the trade show.

We saw a lot of the well built robots and machines available now. Wow, something to behold. Mada guys we're the first group we saw. Their robots and machines are top notch. Our group loved the demonstration we received from Mada and how easily things could be adjusted on the fly, very user friendly. Thank you Madam group!

Kuka was another one we as a group saw. Another top notch group of people with so many amazing robots and people who specialize in setting up your shop. Can't say enough good things about these guys. We look forward to getting more information.

TrumpF was another one we saw and this machine demonstration was one of the best during the trade show. TrumpF sure knows how to make affordable and reliable equipment.

The name of this last one escapes me, but the robot arm was every bit as impressive as the other groups. Easy to use and set up.great demonstration.

All in all the event was great. So many things to see.

We also got to use two welding virtual machines while we were there. The first one the company name escapes me. But the program wasn't very intuitive at all. And the depth perception was way off in my opinion. I personally got a fail on that machine.

The second company that had a virtual machine worked much better. Overall 83% on the meld compiling angles, weld, bead, pool and speed. Great machine guys.

As a group we had fun, sadly I didn't take any pictures, it would have made this review much...

As an exhibitor, I found the Toronto Congress Center frustrating to deal with during our recent show.

Security / Rear Doors Exhibitors often need to step outside quickly—for a smoke, to grab something from the car, etc. Some security guards understood this and allowed us in and out without issue, but others were rude and inconsistent. One guard in particular made unnecessary comments like “you guys always break the rules” even though no rules were ever communicated to us. Opening a door to step outside should not be treated as breaking regulations when exhibitors are working long hours on-site and paying 10s of thousands of dollars to be there. Consistency and professionalism from security staff is badly needed.

Load-Out Chaos Load-out was extremely disorganized. Although the GES union crew were fantastic, the dock management was a disaster. The schedule states exhibitors must be out by 12 noon, but trucks were sitting for hours in a queue while each one took 60+ minutes to load. Meanwhile, we only needed 15 minutes to clear our booth but were forced to waste time because of poor planning and lack of direction from the dock master.

Bottom Line The location itself is great, but the event hall management really needs to fix these operational issues. Security staff should be better trained to treat exhibitors respectfully and consistently, and load-out procedures need a serious overhaul to prevent wasted time and frustration for...
