This is one of the lower tier tiffin services available. Food is below average where they send you dry vegetable curries which are so dry that you cant eat them with the Rotis at all. All the "wet" curries like Daal and Rajma are decent but they all taste the same. The dry sabzis like Aloo or Matar or any other version of Aloo Sabzi are all horrible. I hate to waste food, but I had to throw them away because I couldn't eat them all. On Fridays which is the "special" day, the food is mediocre at best. There is no flavor to the Chowmein or the burgers they give.
Worst part of it all is that it costs about CAD290 for a 20 day tiffin. It is an exorbitant amount of money for a below average food service.
I live in Scarborough and I don't know how to make home cooked meals so I am highly dependent on this food service. Also, there aren't many options for North Indian Food in my area, so I have to rely on them TILL NOW. But now the water is above my head and I am going to discontinue the service.
Another major reason I will add is the timing that they deliver in Scarborough. 95% of the times its after 8pm, so if you are dependent on the tiffin for your meals, don't book them. 20-30% of the times, it might even come after 9pm. 10% of the times, they deliver before 7pm, but never before 6pm have they delivered me once.
I am not writing this review after a weekly trial. I have used their services for about two months now. Lack of North Indian Food available and home delivery was forcing me to take services from these guys. But not anymore 290$ for 20 days is almost 14$ per meal. I am better off buying food from outside.

Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of discovering a delightful gem—this brand-new dine-in restaurant nestled in Vaughan (although they have been in tiffin service for past many years as told by the owner- opened the dine-in as demanded by clients), just a stone's throw from Steeles and east of Hwy 400. Our experience was nothing short of divine. With my wife and sister, we savored a plethora of dishes—Chana Bhatura combo, Paneer Vegetarian Thali, Chaawl Rajmah combo, and a delightful serving of Ilyachi Chai.
To my sheer amazement, the food was a symphony of flavors—remarkably delicious, perfectly balanced in seasoning, and remarkably light on the oil. Each dish, served generously, showcased an artful blend of spices that tantalized the taste buds. The heartwarming touch of the young owner and their family, who manage this culinary haven, elevated the entire experience. Their dedication and love mirrored the passion of preparing a meal in one's own cherished home.
The extensive menu offered a myriad of tempting options, all priced so reasonably for the sheer quality and quantity provided. Even the tea, a seemingly simple delight, was an exquisite indulgence in flavor.
Without hesitation, I'd recommend this haven to anyone with an affection for Punjabi cuisine. My sincerest well-wishes extend to the owner and their family, whose dedication and warmth truly make this place stand out as a haven for culinary delights. A five star experience. Based on our recommendation just go ahead and try, you will come out with experience that you will be encouraged to call your family and friends about the discovery of this...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at this establishment, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. To begin with, the food was simply awful. Each dish seemed to lack any real flavor, as if no one in the kitchen had ever heard of seasoning. The ingredients tasted cheap, poorly cooked, and some items were overcooked while others arrived undercooked—an impressive feat of inconsistency.
The cutlery provided only made matters worse. It was dirty, flimsy, and looked like it hadn’t been properly washed. Using it felt unsanitary and uncomfortable, which really affected the overall dining experience. It’s hard to enjoy even a decent meal when you’re worried about the cleanliness of the utensils.
As for the recipes, they were bland and unimaginative. What should have been classic, comforting dishes were instead dull, tasteless versions that lacked any personality. The menu promised much, but everything that came out of the kitchen failed to deliver. It’s as if the chef was following the worst possible version of every recipe.
To top it all off, the service was lackluster. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which added to the feeling that this place just didn’t care about its customers.
Overall, this restaurant was a disaster from start to finish. Bad food, bad cutlery, bad recipes—just an all-around pathetic experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. Avoid...
