Hello Friends,
Do yourself a favour right now and sign up for the 14-day membership.
This is the best gym I have been to in my entire life, and I encourage anyone who is looking to begin, or continue, their fitness journey to read on.
I hate working out. Truly. The very thought of going to the gym makes me want to cosy up to a warm blanket and bag of Ms. Vickeys Salt n’ Vinegar while watching Greys Anatomy with my fiancé 4 animals (2x dogs, 2x cats). However, over the past several months I have come to love burning calories and building muscle at Fit Factory.
Where do I start? Is it the amazing receptionists who greet me with a smile and “great to see you again, Steve!” every time I walk in? Perhaps. Is it the coaches like Kurt, Mikey, Emma, Jenny, Winston, Yah, Imran, Geoff, or Jamie who actually make you feel like they care about how you are improving as a person, both physically and mentally? That could be the case. Or is it the sense of community that can only be built through the collective agreement between individuals striving to become better than what they were when they walked in the door before class? I’ve considered it.
Or is it the fact that at the end of the day, that Fit Factory actually makes working out enjoyable?
I began my fitness journey like many of you – telling myself “oh this is just a cheat snack” every time I walk past good ol’ McDonalds. I used to find every excuse in the book not to work out; from “well I had a long day at work!” to “I’ll just go to the gym in the morning!” (never happens). Though over the months, working with the trainers in a group dynamic, I have become infatuated with the idea of becoming better, faster, and stronger.
When speaking on the overall culture of Fit Factory, I would describe it as warm and welcoming. Every individual in these classes wants to be built up, and subsequently build each other up. There are no gym-monsters hogging the machines grunting like maniacs. This is an environment where if you miss a class, you miss seeing your friends.
I digress – let's get into the actual classes: Whether you are looking to burn fat (I would recommend a boot camp or athletic conditioning or even boxing) or build muscle (Kurt’s ‘Push/Pull’ or Mikey’s ‘Tuesday Night Lower Combat Butt Class’) this gym has it all for the person looking to spend a solid 1-hour in the gym non-stop. As a person who is pretty self-conscious this gym has given me a ton of self-confidence.
At the end of the day, if you are looking to become better, but you’re afraid to take those first steps, just stop on by any time of the day and just talk to one of the staff – they will help you out and make you feel right at home.

Read moreFit Factory is an excellent experience, beyond professional, I wish this business, the employees and instructors, great success. Because they are really doing something unique!
I did the 30 day unlimited special, and such a professional business and gym. They have a fantastic app on your phone to book classes and manage your classes that sync to your calendar.
The exercises are quite varied always something new, different people around, a different instructor. And variety is key, to really motivate people to keep working out and want to come. And trust me I always looked forward to coming, I get super-pumped.
The music is blaring, people are moving, fighting hard, positive energy through the room, WOAW! Sometimes I feel I am on the dancefloor of a club, but that may just be me.
They have four stations, and you rotate between the four stations and always do different exercises, whether with kettlebells, dumbbells, a deadlift station or just jump onto a box.
People really fight hard when they are doing these exercises, and its inspiring to see people all around you, fighting hard to become fitter and stronger. I saw one guy jump on a box 24 times, like it was a cake walk, I did 12 times. I saw another girl do a one legged squat, with a dumbbell in her hand. Do you know how unreal it is to see someone do a one legged squat with weights and perfect form.
But this is what Fit Factory can do for you, the exercises are designed to make you a very strong and fit person. The cream of the crop
All the instructors are excellent, and some of them even make it a bit of a show and entertain you as well, Emma, Geoff, Kurt, Yaw, Winston, Imran, Jenny, Mikey really lend you their energy and a part of themselves to fuel you to new heights. You are done and you are like, I accomplished something and challenged myself! Very great instructors!
I would highly recommend them, just take it light, and don't try to do too much too fast.
Just keep showing up and everyday walk out stronger and fitter. Progress takes time, I have dropped 15 pounds since joining and definitely put on some muscle.
They have challenges which push you to eat healthier and show up more. I have started eating healthier as a result of one of the challenges. Time to eat some salads!
The community of members are quite nice and relaxed, you can make acquaintances/friends and you do get to know people, just from showing up everyday and working out with them.
After my trial, I joined as a member for 4 months!
Overall amazing professional experience, amazing business, amazing people who make you feel very comfortable and I would highly recommend you give it a shot. Getting in shape is important both for mental and...
