What to say about Calii Love?
This location is very conveniently placed downtown close to many possible kinds of customers, from the businesses around, to tourists like me.
The food options are great because it caters to vegans, vegetarians, gluten restrictive diets, as well as ketogenic and paleo diet enthusiasts.
The decoration is really nice. The base color is white, which makes you feel at peace and ease, while you enjoy your meal. They have your typical kind of seats for small or larger groups, as well as tables across the wall for individual customers. Additionally, they have some chairs with small table next to outlets so you can relax and charge your electronic devices while eating. This is also true for some other seats.
The menu is easy to follow and has many delicious options.
One negative for me is the fact that pretty much every item does not include a protein option, and to be honest, the upcharge to add them seems a but higher than what it should, so maybe the portions are substantial to justify the price, or it's done to force the customer to get them due to the smaller size of the entree itself.
In my case, I had not eaten breakfast and wanted to stick to the vegetarian menu, so I did not get animal protein and just went with the avocado and seeds included, and I must say that I was still pretty satisfied and, although I went walking for around 2 hours around the city, I didn't feel hungry until around 5 to 6 hours later. But still, some others might not feel like me, so please revise the portions and upcharge for certain items.
I would totally recommend you to go and try it. I...

Nothing but a shallow time. What are good vibes? I've heard bad stories from many people about this place - ranging from dirt in the kale, employees not using gloves, watching employees not washing vegetables, and of course Hepatitis A at the Union location.
Can you really justify paying almost 10 dollars for a watery smoothie? Is this what "quality" is coming to? How about the fact that the raw salmon here is always brown. And that is not from the sauce, you better believe that!
Listen, I know its a very instagrammable place, but that is where their money goes to, not the food. They couldn't care less about your experience. It's all just marketing. Good Vibes? The owners couldn't even being to explain what good vibes really are. It's just a shallow slogan they slap on to lure millennials in.
I can't say that I never did enjoy at least one meal here. But the thing is, this was about a year ago. They have seem to have lost their way and only care about money. They don't have the balls to actually be a great restaurant, imagine if they just focused on 2 locations instead of trying to open one at Union and have Hepatitis (which has no cure currently) be the sad result, just like their salmon.
Bad! I hope the owners shut this place down out of their shame. It's not doing the Toronto food scene any good. Please, consider this and move on...
Read moreYonge and Bloor location - paid $15.20 for a "create your own bowl". Sushi rice, 1 scoop of tuna, cucumber, avocado, kimchi and jalapenos. Originally wanted macadamia nuts (advertised online) but they told me they don't carry them. They also don't carry sriracha aioli or cumin tahini sauces, also advertised online. They seemed upset I kept asking for ingredients that are advertised online, but they don't have. I suggest a website update to help the staff not snap at customers who only expect for an establishment's website to be up to date. The ordering process is extremely disorganized. You are supposed to order protein and base, pay, wait to have your toppings added, and then carry through to the end where you can add sesame seeds, nori, etc. This would of worked if the staff was organized and weren't pushing bowls up with customers two or three behind others, so everyone was jostling each other. Also, there are massive sneeze guards (glass divider) which are great for health and safety, but the employees very disinterestedly whisper and are inaudible while making your bowls. Also found an avocado pit in my guacamole as I attempted to eat my bowl. Didn't taste very fresh, very slim on the salmon add on, and poor customer service. I wouldn't come back to this location and wary to give the one on...
