We wanted to try this new luxury boutique hotel as it was brand new and its' famous reputation. We were intrigued with the ensuite ofuro bath and the view from the top floors (41-45). We expected high services and courteous staffs, but it wasn't what we expected. A minor mistake on my name's spelling upon reservation but I contacted the guest services and it was quickly fixed before our arrival. During our stay, the guest services receptionists (females) aren't friendly and not accommodating. We felt unwelcomed and not hospitable attitude from the female staffs. However, we really liked Ryan our guest services host. He definitely made our stay much better. Ryan was very attentive, kind, and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and gave us an exclusive restaurant tour and our own suite tour. When we had the bad experience from Nobu Restaurant, Ryan was very thoughtful and made up during our stay. He really took the time to listen, be empathetic, and accommodating our needs. He keeps asking what else we needed during our stay. He was a great host. Without him, we don't think we would enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We appreciated our room upgrade. The room was spectacular. We even enjoyed a lovely Japanese cheesecake. It was delicious and good touch. Thanks to Jeremy Ughetto for the room upgrade and taking the time to write the welcoming card. The valet attendants were nice and welcoming throughout our stay. They greeted us every time we enter and exit the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't like the Nobu Restaurant at all. We had terrible services. Our Asian female server wasn't professional and keep serving our dishes by leaning over the sofa to reach over our table while we had our items on the sofa. She should have gone around the table and serve us our dishes properly. Same goes to collecting our finished dishes. We felt rushed during our dining time. The server keep reaching over to collect our plates. It wasn't that busy the restaurant and she could have waited a little bit before collecting our dishes. Also, she seems to not care about the special occasion celebration, I had to ask her if she can accommodate something. We had the most tiniest chocolate cake, it wasn't impressive but rather much disappointed. Other upscale restaurants had done much better portions and services. In addition, she didn't inform us about the water charges. I needed to talk to Victor, the manager about it. At first he wasn't helpful but he turned his senses and not charge us for the waters. We felt uneasy and won't dine there again. On a positive note, Askash our breakfast server was very kind and helpful. It was a good ending experience. The checkout was good since Ryan was handling our checkout. Just a minor suggestion, it would be better if it shows the breakdown of the charges. It is easier to understand and more organized. Only Ryan, Askash(breakfast), housekeeping, and valet team were perfect. Overall, if you want to try out a new Japanese style hotel, go for it. Hopefully the services would improve and the staffs (female guests services and restaurant) can be more courteous and start treating guests nicely.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and this was the absolute BEST luxury hotel experience we’ve had. Cesar checked us in upon arrival and managed to upgrade our room which we were pleasantly surprised by. He gave us a tour of the amenities and was a pleasure to communicate with. The aesthetic and energy of the hotel, and the care from staff was exceptional. It felt boutique and exclusive. We ordered dinner via uber and they sorted it out at the lobby and brought it up to our room with plates and cutlery. We were treated to a complimentary champagne bottle to celebrate our anniversary. We had bottomless refills on the DELICIOUS Nobu branded popcorn. The room is blissful with so many luxurious Japanese elements like the statement Japanese soaker tub with complimentary “zen bath ritual magnesium flakes”, the softest kimonos, and don’t forget the toilet, you already know it does it all. We must mention the understated shou sugi ban mini bar unit that had us equally enamoured by its design and all of the complimentary treats and beverages contained inside. We also had a view of the water and CN tower. The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful experience. We were able to enjoy several dishes (Nobu French toast is a must) and the ambience was incredible. It was actually the first time we had seen other guests as that’s how quiet and exclusive the experience is. It was nice to see other faces looking like they were having a wonderful time as well. We overheard a couple beside us mention that Nobu is better than Four Seasons! It was also amazing to see couples as well as full families (grandparents, parents and young children) enjoying themselves and being treated with the same exceptional attention and service. We will be back very soon! Thank you, Nobu, for helping us have a memorable anniversary celebration. Jide & Sharla

We recently stayed at Nobu Hotel Toronto for two nights and were absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel like VIPs — the service was genuinely exceptional across the board. Having stayed at both the St. Regis and Ritz in Toronto, we can confidently say Nobu is now our go-to hotel in the city. The attention to detail, the warm professionalism, and the elevated aesthetic truly set it apart. The breakfast was incredible each morning — fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. In our room, we were welcomed with the signature Nobu-branded popcorn, which was such a fun and tasty touch. The deep soaker tub offered the perfect way to unwind, and the views of the CN Tower and Toronto skyline were nothing short of breathtaking. One thing we especially appreciated was the privacy and personalized nature of the experience — it felt curated just for us, without ever being intrusive. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Truly the best of the best.

From the moment we arrived at Nobu Hotel Toronto, we were treated to an unforgettable experience that far exceeded our expectations. Ryan at check-in set the tone with a warm welcome and exceptional professionalism that immediately made us feel at home. The hospitality only continued to shine, with Karim from Valet delivering seamless service and going above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay.

A special thank you to Mathilda, Chloe, and Cesar — their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was truly impressive. Whether it was coordinating details or simply checking in with a smile, they made every interaction feel personal and thoughtful. Jeremy's follow-up on our in-room requests was timely and meticulous, and Nabin made the experience of retrieving our car from valet feel like a luxury event with his incredible attention to detail.

The amenities and room were spectacular — modern, refined, and incredibly comfortable — but what truly set this stay apart was the hospitality. I’ve stayed in villas across the Middle East where service is taken to the highest standard, and yet Nobu somehow managed to exceed even that. It felt like every staff member genuinely cared.

Breakfast at the Sakura Lounge was another highlight. All the staff at the Lounge were up to par with the rest of the staff mentioned above. The quality of the food, the serene atmosphere, and the unhurried pace made each morning a pleasure. It’s clear the team at Nobu understands how stressful life can be, and they do everything in their power to offer a calming, luxurious escape.

From start to finish — check-in to check-out, valet to housekeeping — everything was 10/10. This was, without question, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I couldn’t be happier to have discovered this gem, and I’ll absolutely...
