This is a very nice hotel well situated in the financial district of Toronto very near the CN tower which is brilliant and a short walk to the harbour. Staff are delightful and check in was very quick and very efficient. The room we have is very spaces well designed beautiful layout with lots of space for hanging clothes storage and suitcases etc. It includes a nespresso machine which is great and the coffee and machine was replenished every day. The hotel has a nice roof terrace, rooftop gym and particularly fun - putting green on the roof. The putting green is quite small but still I found it a nice way to pass a bit of time before and after breakfast. Staff have been particularly helpful. Anything we’ve asked for has been dealt with really quickly. For example they weren’t quite enough coat hangers in the wardrobes when we arrived and very quickly we managed to get five more. The only negative for me is the inflexibility of the kitchen. We have breakfast included but this only includes a very nice , but very limited continental breakfast option. While I have no complaints about the quality of the food, I would say two things Firstly, it doesn’t really take account of vegetarian or vegan diners. Secondly, if you are in a hotel for a number of days it does get particularly boring having the same food every day. While we have managed to get substitutes for the meat the options for this was very limited. Anyone who has read any of my reviews before will know I get particularly annoyed when the only coffee on offer in a breakfast room is that very weak? American type coffee. You have to pay extra if you want decent coffee. I think that for a hotel that charges over $500 a night. This really is just mean and ridiculous and I will never give us five star review for hotel that does this. This is not a criticism of staff. They are bound by the the policies of the hotel but it does seem to me that it would be quite simple to vary the nature of the continental breakfast with a different choice of pastries or maybe some different fruit some days. Given Toronto one of the most amazing markets I’ve ever seen it doesn’t seem that this would be particularly difficult . It is absolutely a wonderful hotel with excellent friendly charming staff and I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit. But just a message to the management of this hotel please recognise that given the prices you charge, You really don’t need to be that mean when it comes to breakfast and should show greater...
