Overall the it was great value. The food is not upscale but they serve a good portion of home fries. The French Toast is very eggy not your traditional taste. Taste and smells mostly like egg. I didn’t even eat it to be honest this one is a no go for me. The eggs have no seasoning, not even a dash of salt. Would probably not order scrambled eggs again Home fries are great could be more crispy the presentation of the home fries gives me the impression that they have been tossed around or left out of the deep frier enough to get soggy. Crispy small bits would make it perfect. The Fresh Fruit is probably my favourite thing that came with this order. They were very fresh and didn’t have any bad fruit. If your a tourist or foodie this isn’t it. If your looking for a bite that’s cheep and fills you up this is it.

It was ok, kind of dive-y, hole in the wall kind of place. Definitely.... unique? It could use some investment and renovations. I wouldn't go again. Family breakfast, 2 adults 2 kids for $100. The place is easily found. There is on street parking. It is not wheelchair accessible since there is a ~15cm curb about 50cm from the door. The inside feels like it was assembled at a flea market. The coffee and hot chocolate were watery. The food had a beautiful presentation but the sausages tasted freezer burnt. My fruit cup was filled with firm fruit and the mexicala omelette was really delicious. I enjoyed the little salad too. The potatoes were kind of mushy. They have about 32 seats inside and there is a large patio outside.

We got lucky to find a great place to watch the first game of the world series! They were pretty full but we found a spot towards the back with a view of the TV! The staff were super friendly! The food was really great! The chicken Caesar wrap I had was AWESOME, with an amazing fried flatbread instead of a plain tortilla; fries and onion rings were good. We had a few pitchers of Lugtread and they were ice cold. What more can you ask for while watching a game? The staff really were excellent and I think they stayed open a bit late for the Blue Jays game. I wish I knew about this place in the summer, because they have an amazing patio!

I work around the corner and have driven by for 5 years now. It's hot out and we wanted a shadowy patio. Check!

Minimal menu - great! BBQ going - whooohooo I ordered a port souvlaki Hubby a mushroom Swiss burger and poutine.

That's when things went downhill 😟I had high expectations but.... Poutine is made with cheese curds not cheddar - please rename or cheesy fries l.. The pork souvlaki was a very dark, stewing beef like meat with a yummy tzaziki!! But chewing the meat was impossible. We sent the fries back so I didn't want to complain about my meal....

Sorry.....big fat thumbs down for me.

Edited to respond to an owner that uses sarcasm when reviewed.

5 years yes....there was a pandemic and your patio appeared filthy! Again no thanks. You cannot name something a poutine when your ingredients are wrong! Name your fries with gray and cheese (no cheese curds were harmed in the making of your dish) Fries with Gravy and Cheese!

As for ezcalting, when your sweet waitress was asked to remove the item as we would not be eating it she was alsmot in tears! He approached another staffer to insist it be removed. Do you really think I'd waste more time discussing the souvlaki!? It was actually wasted - but we did pay for it. Glad you're removing it because the quality of the meat was horrible. I doubt it was marinated appropriately and still suspect it wasn't even pork.

Respect is a two way street - you did not earn mine (and whatever snide comeback you may have - it only shows potential customers what...

I go to school in the neighbourhood. I've been to this diner twice before and didn't have any complaints. However, the experience was totally different this time on Thursday September 25. It was the worse service I've ever had. Having worked in the restaurant industry before, I usually let things slide if it was just a couple minor things. This time however, a long list of things went wrong with this visit:

  1. The waitress forgot my friend's drink orders (Coke Zero, milk);
  2. The waitress forgot to add ice to the glass when she finally fetched us my friend's Coke;
  3. We had to wait 90- minutes for our order to arrive, it was routine set breakfast;
  4. Someone who came after us got their order 30 minutes before our order did;
  5. No cutlery was provided, we had to ask the waitress again when the food finally arrived;
  6. The waitress forgot the bread-type I ordered, and had to ask me twice to confirm;
  7. When the food finally arrived, the bread was switched between my order and my friend's;
  8. When we had to remind the waitress of my friend's drink order, I read from her lips that she muttered "what's the complain now";
  9. Not really the waitress' fault but still, the card reader malfunctioned, they had to reset the system and my friend had to try 3 times to pay, so just paying took us 15 minutes. Next time if you visit and see a young waitress, get ready to have a 3 hour lunch because you'll be waiting and waiting, and constantly have to remind the younger waitress of...
