UPDATE: This store is now under new management, so the below review no longer applies.
The new owners so far display an understanding of customer service, unlike the previous owners. They also increased the variety of products they sell and are open 24/7.
Great store!!
The store clerks are stealing from their customers by increasing the price of items when ringing them up, and adding "service fees" to your orders and provide no logical explanation why.
They are literally stealing from their customers. Beware.
For instance, today I purchased 3 things: watermelon slices for $3.99, lettuce, and corn for $2.50. Explain to my why my order came out to $14?
As the store clerk was ringing me up, she covertly added 25 cents to my order thinking I wouldn't notice, and increased the price of the the items in the register above what was advertised on the shelves, then when I asked her what the charge was for, she unconvincingly mustered up this response: "Oh, we charge that fee for the banana." Funny response considering I wasn't even purchasing bananas.
This wasn't the first time they added unaccounted for charges to my order and increased the price without me initially realizing, but I didn't want to dispute it because it was late, they were closing, and I wanted to avoid controversy at all costs.
Now that I've confirmed this recurring pattern of them adding charges to my order without my permission and increasing the costs above what is advertised in their store, I'll avoid shopping here, and instead shop at Loblaws across the street.
They are literally stealing from their...

The incident that occurred on May 25, 2023 Approximately 8:50 PM. I bought a box through the TOGOODTOGO app.
Unfortunately I did not think to take a picture at the time of the incident.
What happened was, I went to pick up my ToGoodToGo box. A small Asian man showed me the boxes and I opened mine and proceeded to transfer the contents into my bag.
There were two bags of pasta there but wrapped with elastic bands. I thought it was odd so I unwrapped the bands and both packages were opened.
I told the man that he cannot sell food opened and it was against the law. He said they were still good. I said no and I proceeded to throw both opened pasta bags into the garbage bin next to the coffee station. The man said what am I doing and he went into the garbage bin and took them out and said they were good.
I told him, I bought them, they are mine to dispose of which I did and he had no right to go into the trash bin and take them out. He started yelling at me saying they were still good and that heās never had another customer give him issue before.
I said what he did is unsanitary and against the law. He started arguing and I decided at that point it was best to leave.
I am never shopping there again and reported them to public health for selling...

**PRO TIP check the expiration date of all foods items first. I keep finding expired food on the shelves and in the freezer.
Unfortunately, they have not maintained the store conditions as they were before.
The previous owners had pride of ownership in maintaining the sore conditions and inventory.
Produce and fruit was always maintained very well.
Handmade sandwiches have been replaced with low-quality pre-made sandwiches, only meat, and bread, No vegetables, cheese, or other toppings on any of these new sandwiches, and yet the price is still the same.
No flowers or plants in the refrigerated area. It seems like it was decommissioned.
It seems like the A/C is running but they leave the doors propped open.
The neighborhood market corner store now feels like a poorly maintained convenience store to get your lotto tickets and cigarettes.
Customer service experience has improved, however I don't go to the store for lip service or feelgood words when the products have been degraded or not...
