Love it! Rabba's is on the main floor- you can roll your cart to the store and roll in and fill up your cart and roll to the cashier and pay and roll home...You would think this is not rocket science but- Longo's is up a flight of stairs and you have to ask to use the elevator- Loblaws city market is either down an escalator or an ambitious find to get to an elevator- Eataly is up an escalator- Pusateri's is moving to College street so....If you use a cart to carry heavy items like milk or juice or you actually have more than a few items, then you really appreciate Rabba's in the Rosedale south neighbourhood...They answer their phone if you want to check stock of items, and there is even a bank machine! Rabba's takes American Express which Loblaw's does not! Rabba's carries the Grapefruit Collagen Hibiscus juice and other stores do not! Sure it costs slightly more but they are open 24 hours, which is so amazing!!!! Staff are nice and polite and friendly! I get fresh spinach in a bag which Harvest Wagon does not carry...I got 2 different kinds of less salt potato chips there for my husband! If you use a walker or a wheelchair or a baby stroller or a shopping cart, Rabba's is the best!!! photo: this is a delicious dish I made with ingredients I got from Rabba's- it is like a creamed spinach recipe with a little extra! For times when you need to eat...

I realize because it's a much older store inside it gives off a ^dirty^ vibe - but the stale cooking smells mixed with decades old stale smoke odour make it impossible to feel any other way! The ^Managing^ Staff are completely indifferent when asked for assistance and you must repeat requests several times (e.g.. to double bag or for matches etc) and even then - check your bags before leaving because you may get home to find you are missing items you have paid for. There are much nicer Raba stores around- try the one on Charles behind the Manulife building or even 9 Isabella 1 block east of Yonge. Nicer more attentive help, cleaner store and...
Read moreBeen a regular shopper here for the past 2-3 years. It's open 24/7 which is super convenient. Unfortunately, most of foods (butter, bread, pastry, fruits) is mouldy, bad and highly overpriced but other than that it's a good little spot for a can of soda or non-perishable goods and I'd rather order a grocery delivery from Walmart (where it's half the price) or go to Longos, City Market, or even Whole Foods if I need something...
