Classic pub style bar. Lots of seating + has a patio. Drink prices are cheap about 6 to 10$ a beer. Cocktails were around 11$. Wine ranges from 6$ per glass all the way to 15+. Service was fast. Waitress knew the menu like the back of her hand. Seemed very experienced. The bar had a good atmosphere, lots of after work crowd + the usuals. The bar was lively for a Wednesday night. Multiple TVs, long classic style wooden bar. Plenty of beer choices + theres a beer of the month which has special pricing. Order was fast to be taken. Food was fast to be served. The portions are large and the pricing is fair. Around 10 to 20$ per entree. However the food is mostly traditional pub. There are some healthy options but you dont go to a bar for your health. The fries were subpar, wouldnt go out of my way for them. Next time I will switch to yam fries or onion rings. Wings were cooked properly, not overly done. The wings were saucey, and came with a nice blue cheese dipping sauce which was a nice unique touch. (Wasnt the usual blue cheese processed salad dressing that most places give you as dip) I would definitely go here again. Would just switch out the fries. Definitely try and do a daily special bc the pricing is really good on the daily deals.

Usually the food is great. Huge portions and good food - a little on the heavier and greasier side of course. This is taking mostly into today's service - other times they have been great. The server today had trouble getting us a seat because it was busy, even though there was a ton of space for 2. When we were seated, the server took a long time to get to our order, which is understandable but frustrating too. When we got our order in, half an hour later he comes back stating that they have sold out of the dish I ordered. At this point we have been at the restaurant for 45 minutes without food. I quickly reordered and we got our food in another 15 to 20 minutes. The food wasn't terrible, although my friend did not enjoy part of his beef dip that was plasticky, even though he orders it all the time. We're hoping it's a one off thing because it was busy, since we usually love this place for a good bite, but today was not a good day.

Good meal ruined by rude food server! The company I work for had a celebratory meal here on Friday, June 1, 2018. Extremely busy but to be expected for weekday lunch hour. When our meals arrived, the servers didn't know who ordered what so some plates were set down randomly. When a coworker took the one of the plates he thought he ordered, he mentioned to one of the servers who was bringing out plates, he ordered fries as a side and not what was on his plate. The server then remarked in not so many words it wasn't her problem. Not these exact words but something to this effect. I forgot her exact words since everyone including myself were in complete shock. Not acceptable for anyone to say this in any setting. As for my meal, the veggie burger was good.

This bar was good till the bartender/server “Sam” started working there especially behind the bar. I talked to the owner “Sudan” about 4 months ago, since things haven’t changed even get worsen. Sam ignoring the customers, she feels so comfortable then she forgot that we are the ones paying her rent!!

As a regular I heard too many people not happy and saying something as a comment because she’s very slow and serving without a smile. People say she is miserable and passive aggressive. This what I heard from the regular customers.

Yesterday again she rejected me when I called her, she said she was busy when i want to talk about my points, there is only 2 persons on the bar and served already!!!! When I shows that i wasn’t happy as I an missing a lot of points, christian (bartender in dragon and crown bar, in church in younge street) has shown beside me and asked her if i’am bothering her , same time shakes his head toward me. Then when later I turned right , he talked behind me aggressive way said “ I see you turned” . Again Sam she heard that but she ignoring me! . I AM THE ONE SPENDING MONEY THERE SAM! Christian coming there to hung out with the servers (like yesterday after aggressed me, he went out to smoke with Anna). Before I left you said “I don’t want you to come back”. When you going to start to be professional?!

About 4 months ago , I was seating in the Patio and was waiting 20 minutes to bring me my drink! Then you missed ice cubes that you never brought! And you argued with me and yelling you said that you were busy with the table behind ! You ignored me because more tips from the table , from me just one Glass!! Lol that time just spend and left 60 dollars in the bar with Crystal before the patio!! Excuse me! Again….again. And again…

Bartender/server absolutely not...

This pub has good deals (generous portion for a reasonable price) and the drinks are more affordable than other bars I've been to, but the quality of the service here was severely lacking. The waitress that was serving the past Saturday was rude to us from the start, giving us attitude when there were people who had just arrived and needed more time to order drinks. I ordered gin and water double but she put in my order wrong and came back with only single gin and water. I had finished my drink less than an hour into the dinner and she did not ask me once if I wanted a refill. To make it worse, she entered our food order twice and immediately blamed us for it and became very defensive and visibly upset when we explicitly told her from the start we were sharing a dish. It did not help that the chicken fingers we ordered were no better than the frozen ones you can get from any grocery stores. I didn't want to cause trouble so I got the second one to go and paid for it but I left it at the restaurant because it was just not that good.

The service was consistently poor throughout the night. The server never asked any of us if we wanted more drinks and was rather rude trying to clear away our plates as soon as possible when some of us were clearly still trying to finish. I get that this is a pub and I was not expecting top notch service, but the server was just flat out rude to us and made everyone uncomfortable.

I would recommend this place for a takeout if you want a cheap bite to eat or a quick place to have a drink. The place definitely has that village pub feel and is quiet enough for it to be a conversation friendly place, but I would not recommend staying here for long or hosting any event given the poor quality of...

I’ve been here twice in the past six months with basically the same experience each time, and won’t plan on returning. One time was for lunch and today was brunch.

TLDR: service can be slow, and the food is middle of the road fine. If you want to have beer and wings this is probably your spot. The vibes are good for an English pub but the food is just underwhelming.

For today’s brunch it was quite busy with some open tables and it looked like 3 staff. It took almost 10 minutes for our server to come to our table, so we just ordered drinks and food together. The food itself took another 45 minutes to arrive.

The food itself is fine, seems to be a lot of prepared food and generally fine tasting. The temperatures on my dish (the English breakfast) varied, with things either being piping hot or cold. My partners brunch was also fine, but he said the hollandaise was bland.

It does seem like we arrived after a rush, but it also seems like when a rush happened tables weren’t held so the kitchen wasn’t staggered. It did take almost an hour for our food, but the table beside us that came in 10 minutes later got their maybe after 20 minutes, though they waited a very long time to order. So I think your experience, service-wise, can vary. We did wait almost an hour for food the other time we visited...
