Initial communication was good. Then got confusing. Two people called me. Locking me in as a customer was a little too blatant and focused vs anything else. I was apprehensive at that moment and should've listened to my instincts. Kept telling sales don't take me as customer if you aren't confident in what you can produce as a whole. Individual kept using "aha" , when conversing, like someone who's been repeating and listening to same spiel day after day. Definitely bored. Technical writer: Great communication Good knowledge Guarantee: Didn't even reply to my email to get a re-do, because I didn't get much traction with their resume . So I assume the guarantee is pure bologna. Paid around $600. I would not recommend. Save your money.

I reviewed by company name which took me to the Van location, deleted that post as my invoice does not stipulate which branch, regardless and whatever the case, got the standard generic reply review is going to be flagged as fake. Response: Initial agent Rachel I think, overly pressed to "LOCK IN" a payment, in a conversation which lasted 20 mins all she cared about was my payment mentioning it over 3 times, while I was driving when I asked her if I could call her back, she kept persisting because of discount. Completion of service to me is including the guarantee, so technically wrong, review states CV was written so who is arguing it wasn't completed? The 90 days guarantee period stated cannot be from confirmation date but from completion of final draft/LI profile optimization, with that being said Dec 3rd, 2021 was completion and my email to writer for a redo was Feb 11, 2022. Even if correct which it's not, technicalities wont help customer retention, when the objective is helping people with their resume to get employed, at a $600 rate you think there would be more effort. BEWARE BEWARE! If you give bad review, they call you and threaten you to change it and call you dishonest and liars! After they called me dishonest, I have added some pics from track changes with wrong tense and sentence formation.

Original post below: Short review: Go here if you are new in your career or not confident of how to showcase yourself in a resume. Services are quite average and sign up only for the resume writing service not the full package. Not recommended for experienced and smart professionals who already have a grip over their career.

Detailed review: As a new immigrant, I went to RT for getting my resume written but I feel it is quite okay. I was working with Josh and I could see him yawn twice while I was there for my one-on-one interview. The resume that he wrote was not bad honestly but I guess it was missing some important details that I had specifically asked for highlighting. The main focus seemed to be the length of the resume and not the content at one point. The biggest blunder was the spelling and grammar mistakes after paying some 450$ CAD. I had also signed up for the resume distribution service but I never understood how it worked and as expected it didn't give any positive returns. I ended up getting a job using my old resume. So, if you are totally new or like couple years in your professional path, they can help you highlight some strong points; but if you are an experienced professional, totally avoid it and you should be fine. Look up online for basic formats or canadian resume style (which is not too different again but just a bit of change that you can identify from available online samples) and you should be okay....

I recently used their service for resume writing and LinkedIn optimization, and I must say it was highly unprofessional and below average. The resume lacked professional terminologies, and they turned my LinkedIn profile into a complete mess. It seems they don't provide qualified professionals to handle the work. Unfortunately, their service was a waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

After my initial Google review, your team reconnected with me, and I had a lengthy conversation with Amos lasting over an hour. Following that, I received resumes with ChatGPT-generated subheadings, which felt like minimal effort was invested in customizing my resume. This process has wasted both time and money. The claim about my work experience is inaccurate. I clearly mentioned I have more than two years of experience, which is why I chose the mid-career package. Making false accusations to counter genuine concerns is disappointing. As I previously mentioned, no other service would provide a resume with unnecessary slash options. After our follow-up, I was asked to delete my review, which I was not comfortable with until my concerns were properly addressed. Many other reviews suggest a pattern of pressure on clients after they express dissatisfaction. If this effort had instead been used to craft my resume properly, it would have resolved things. Based on past interactions, I am not confident that future versions will improve, nor am I interested in having my LinkedIn profile revised again.
