This is probably the worst Shoppers Drug Mart I’ve ever encountered. I wanted to make a refund, however, I couldn’t receive the same method of payment back on my credit card due to fraud a few days ago, I had to cancel my credit card. The supervisor Zubi there said my only option was a giftcard, but I wanted my money back. Her response to me was if I wanted to try another card I could, but if the funds don’t go through that Shoppers was not responsible and it would be my fault. She literally said if I decide to try another card that I would end up the same way calling customer service for shoppers like I did for my credit card company and it would be a whole process and headache (she’s honestly rude and needs to be retrained). If only I was able to record the whole situation, her tone of voice is mad disrespect. That’s not how you should treat customers… Shoppers, please do better!!! I tried calling my credit card company to see if there were other options, but they requested me to try another debit/credit card (which Zubi mentioned that if the funds don’t go through, it wouldn’t be the responsibility of Shoppers, again reluctant to try and kept giving me a disclaimer that’s no where written!!!). As you can see, I’m already frustrated and without any empathy, she goes on to tell another colleague of hers out loud in a taunting way which is so disrespectful… yet that was not only it. While she disappeared to go get her manager or whoever she paged… ended up not showing up!! She came back and gave me a post it with Shoppers Customer service hotline. This is horrible customer service.. the no empathy and disrespect they give to customers! She then went on to serve other customers when I had waited and told her I wasn’t going to wait anymore and wanted a store credit. She ignored me while I was there… the worst experience I ever encountered!!! I ended up bringing my items to the cash in front and a nice lady ended up helping me in the end. All in all, this Shoppers needs to do better and hire better employees! To know that she’s a supervisor and yet her service standards are so poor! Please re-train your...

The location of the store is super convenient, the selection is typically pretty good (especially the beauty products; I appreciate the natural beauty selection) and most of the staff are great – BUT the pharmacists are brutal.

I've had a terrible time refilling my prescriptions throughout the pandemic (try to refill two weeks ahead and told it's too soon; try to refill a week ahead and told it's too late; have to pay an extra $15 fee for an emergency dosage and told it's a legitimate solution when that's double the entire monthly cost of my prescription). I've found it's completely dependent on who's working the pharmacy counter. There is one pharmacist, a woman, who is wonderful (I don't know her name, but I think she's East Asian), and an older white woman and a man who are awful.

I had a brutal experience trying to refill some pretty important prescriptions and received a public lecture from the older white woman (while there was a long line of people behind me, no less) on how I "shouldn't wait so long to refill my medication, because I really shouldn't stop taking it suddenly." I had called a week prior and my doctor had already sent three faxes to them approving the refill, which they had conveniently not received / lost / forgotten.

Don't lecture someone with depression when you are the cause of the problem. Get some sensitivity training, get better at your job, or get out of the pharmacy. I moved my prescriptions to the Rexall down the street after my uncalled-for public shaming and have had no issues with...

I've never had such a horrid experience with a pharmacy than I've had with this one. Have been using it for about 2 years before it was finally time to transfer everything to another pharmacy.

Never had the amount of medications I needed so would always make me pay up front for a full supply (3 months) and would only give me one month, I'd have to go back and pick the rest up later.

In order to call in my prescription refills, I'd constantly wait on the phone for 30+ minutes at a time. Then I would order and pick up at an agreed upon time, only to find that it either wasn't ready or they spent about 10-15 minutes trying to find the prescription at all.

When I was transferring my account, the new pharmacy spent three days trying to get a hold of them because no one picks up the phone. The new pharmacy even called me to tell me that they keep trying. Then when I think it's been transferred, they only transferred ONE of FIVE prescriptions over. How does that make any sense??

I get them to transfer the rest, and go to get a refill on one of my prescriptions, but because it was one of those incidents where they charged me up front for 3 months and only gave me 1 month (the cost I was willing to forego in order to NEVER go there again), they had no prescription on file for the new pharmacy so I have to get my doctor to call it in all over again.

RUN from this place - do not go there. Worst experience I've ever had in my life - I'm diabetic so my medications are important (life saving!) and no one there...
