Delicious!!! Unique Italian style brunch. A depart from the usual pancakes and eggs benedicts. We had the Al forno - the warm toasted bread that we dipped into soft egg yolks with pesto was surprisingly good. Also had the stuffed foccacia with porchetta, it very filling and quite heavy, definitely a man's meal. For dessert, we had budino- warm bread pudding with crisp edges and pear chutney and creme anglaise, was out of the best bread pudding rendition we've ever had. Since we are such glutton, despite being so full, we also had the a rich full bodied Americano and a crespelle, my oh my .. this light and crispy pancakes was the best part of the meal, I can't quite describe what I was eating trust me and just order it! You'll be happy you did. The server was very pleasant and took time to explain the food in detail, we appreciate the friendly attentive service. The decor is unique mix of minimalist industrial with echoes of modern classic elements that gave warmth to the ambiance. Washroom are very spacious, clean. Happy experience and...

We went to Bar Buca for brunch on a Sunday. It is definitely a popular place - the patio was already full when we went around 10:30am, but plenty of seats inside. When we left an hour later, the place was already full.

It was weird walking in since there is no reception counter, so I had to flag a waitress down to get a seat. Upon seating, the service was a tad slow and this was true from getting the order, getting the item and the bill itself.

We ordered a latte each, and shared the porchetta stuffed foccacia, and the bistecca tagliata (steak and eggs). The focaccia was a very decent portion, and it was delicious. We would have been satisfied if we just split that. The steak and eggs was presented very well and cooked perfectly - steak was tender and juicy, and we liked the sunny-side up eggs and greens with it.

Overall, the food here was great and the service could be improved. I would give this place a 4 star rating.

Nothing. I was told a 25 minute wait, after 1h, we asked when we would be seated. The host said, "I told you, you could order food here". Here being the standing waiting area. People don't go to a restaurant to eat standing up. We were 3 women in heels standing for over an hour waiting for a table we were told would take 25 minutes. If they were truthful with us from the start, we would have left. Outrageous. And for the host to say, I told you that you could order food here was the rudest thing ever. We left, and on the way out, passed the host, and he didn't have a word to say to us. No, I'm sorry for the wait, no sorry to see you go, nothing. Even worse, he had friends come in, AND HE SEATED THEM BEFORE USE EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THERE FOR AN HOUR!

I despise bar buca and will never go back there again. If I could give them - 5 stars, I would. The host was an pick of you know what.

One positive was the bartenders. Amazing. The host should be fired....

I reallyyyy wanted to like this place, I was truly excited to try it. The ambiance, the decor and the service were all great. But the food was just average for me. I really loved the caffè con zabaglione (espresso with sweet italian custard ) It was honestly the highlight of our meal. The Italian Custard gave it a wonderful sweet taste, similarly to how coffee with bailey's would taste. Unfortunately they didn't have many Gluten Free options or Vegetarian options, but we managed. I ordered the strapazzate dish (pulled mixed farm eggs, burrata & black truffles ) While to some it might seem like a delicate egg dish, to me, it tasted quite bland and lacked flavour. There was essentially no seasoning in the egg. All you tasted was plain egg with burrata cheese. I might come back here for a pastry and a coffee, but not for a meal
