Went to the wonderful Christmas Pageant with live animals on Christmas Eve at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church and was made to feel very welcome by the community of people who run the church and pageant. It’s a place where people from many different Christian faiths (both Catholic and Protestant) came to see the re-enacted story of Christ’s birth. There were beautiful carols sung by professional soloists along with the amateur community singers and actors of small children, teenagers and adults. Some songs were quite hilarious! The pageant includes a donkey, a goat, 2 sheep, a llama and 3 rabbits who were on loan from a petting zoo and who were a hit with the congregation, especially all the children! Highly recommend.

I'm lucky to live near this historic landmark. The building is a true architectural masterpiece. It's very spacious, and there are many activities besides the religious services - a book club, music concerts, workshops, etc. They also run a food bank that many people benefit from - I see a very long line a few times a week. I attended the organ concert during the Doors Open Toronto, it was amazing. What a great job keeping the heritage site in such a great shape and supporting the community through charity and cultural events.

My husband and I went for Advent service and were greeted by many friendly people. Rev. Jason was engaging and intelligent with a fresh perspective that was relevant to today. The program lists many activities.

If you're searching for a wedding venue that blends elegance, history, and convenience, Timothy Eaton Memorial Church is a standout gem in midtown Toronto. From the moment you arrive, the ample parking space makes it stress-free for guests — a rare luxury in the city.

💒 The church itself is breathtaking. Built in Neo-Gothic style, its stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, and stone detailing create a romantic and timeless backdrop. The surrounding grounds are beautifully maintained, with seasonal flowers and greenery that make for stunning bridal party and couple portraits.

📸 Whether you're capturing moments on the long aisle lined with candelabras or posing outside with the church’s majestic façade, every photo feels like it belongs in a storybook.

👰‍♀️ Getting Ready Spaces The church offers stunning rooms for getting ready, each with its own charm. The bride can prepare in a bright, spacious room with large windows, perfect for capturing dramatic, light-filled shots as she gets dressed. The groom’s space complements the church’s architecture with a moody, Gothic-inspired atmosphere, ideal for stylish portraits that echo the venue’s historic character.

🍸 For cocktail hours and dinner, the venue offers several elegant indoor spaces like the Alan Beattie Room, Atrium, and West Assembly Hall, accommodating up to 200 guests. These rooms are well-lit, tastefully decorated, and perfect for mingling and celebrating.

🎶 The sanctuary even features one of Canada’s largest pipe organs, adding a grand musical touch to your ceremony.

In short, Timothy Eaton Memorial Church is more than just a place to say “I do” — it’s a place to celebrate love in style and comfort. Highly recommended for couples looking for a venue that’s both romantic and practical, with picture-perfect moments...
