TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM — Local services in Toronto

I have been banking at this branch for a number of years. I recently had an unfortunate error with a global transfer. A teller made a gross error on the transfer which held thousands of dollars of my funds in limbo for 14 days. Combination of human error and TD's issues with compliance no doubt with the recent settlement of the billion dollar law suit. All that being said, the bank manager, Jola, is unhelpful, unprofessional and takes no accountability. A complete amateur in understanding how to deal with customer service issues and a master at passing responsibility in any way possible. This branch needs a serious look at staff and how to service customers. I will never step foot in this branch again and moving all my accounts. I suspect a response message to this review to email a 'support' contact due to my 'privacy' based on responses of other poor reviews. Went to open an account, the lady rep asked way too many inappropriate questions. If the same questions were asked in the US, she would be fired immediately. She started to ask whether I pay taxes at other countries, whether I’m a citizen of another country. I never experienced such questions for opening an account at a bank. The above and other questions was too personal. I asked why are you asking so many personal questions, she replied with I am curious plus the system requires it. We all know that’s bs. I said it’s non of your concern and you shouldn’t be so curious. She replied with I need to put it in the system also. Yesterday I had the pleasure of having Kia help me get a TD Visa card. After a disastrous experience at TD at St. Clair and Yonge, the service I received with Kia was the antithesis of what I'd encountered at TD St. Clair/Yonge.
