Great italian gem on Yonge Street. They have outside patio seating but the road is too busy to really enjoy the experience with loud motorcycles and cars spewing emissions in combination with the humidity in the summer - its not a totally pleasant experience. Sit inside instead where it is nice and cool. The space is a little narrow and tight especially around the bar but the ambiance and decor is nice. The menu is a little pricey as was the cocktail list. I was not totally impressed by the selection. It was limited. I did appreciate the variety of greens / salads on the menu which were tasty but the portions were so small. My companion and I both had a bit of a tummy issue after eating and I got a canker sore from drinking water (which was strange) since I haven't had one in such a long time and this was the only place I had been to in public in a while. Not blaming them for this but it was a strange coincidence. Nonetheless, the overall experience was okay. There are other things on the menu to try but personally, I don't think I would get the value I expect. There are Italian restaurants in Yorkville that offer better value...

I've had enough of this restaurant. I've tried it a few times, bringing guests from out of town. The food is solid, pedestrian at best, but solid. The service is still irritating. They are so aggressive in how they hustle you at every step of the way, that it becomes uncomfortable. They're desperately trying to gouge people financially. They cap you at 2 hours, but all the while hustle you to order more drinks, and more expensive bottles of wine and food which takes forever to arrive and then as they're pouring your glass, they uncomfortably tell you, the next guests are already in line waiting for your table. It's comical because the restaurant is half empty. Quite frankly, I'm fed up and embarrassed and tired of the hustle. You're supposed to go out and enjoy a meal. Sometimes it takes an hour, sometimes, if you're guests from out of town that are ordering very expensive bottles of wine and lots of food it takes longer. Don't hustle people to over order --- you know what, your loyal guests won't come back. There's a thousand restaurants in Toronto. I'll go...

This has been the worst eating experience of my life on a restaurant so far. The food was just gross, nothing else. It looked bad, it did smell bad and the taste was the same. I went for brunch on Saturday 27th of December 2014 with two friends. I ordered the Striploin. It came with three sunny side up eggs not cooked with some of the egg white still raw. The salad beside was just roughly cut and put there. I asked for a medium rare, it came overcooked and dry and the smell/taste was... terrible. I don't want to explain exactly what it tasted of. One of my friend ordered their burger. After that she told me that was really hard to understand what kind of creature was the grind meat coming from. My other friend ordered a Pasta alla Norma that had nothing reminding a sicilian dish. Just few slices of a white dry cheese that was not ricotta of course. We came in just because we were curious and it was the worst decision ever made. Never going back again and never sending anybody else. Close by you have different choices that, at least, use proper...

Great experience overall We had a lovely lunch here. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They also have a great wine selection with plenty of good options to pair with your meal. We started with the arancini, which were absolutely spectacular. Crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside. For mains, we tried two pasta dishes. The mushroom ravioli were amazing, perfectly cooked and packed with rich, earthy flavor. The Ravioli Cacio e Pepe was more of a three and a half stars for me. It’s not a traditional version, it includes some extra ingredients that turn it into a more liquid “sauce”, which takes away from the simplicity and intensity of the original Roman recipe. Still, it was enjoyable. Lunch for two, including one shared appetizer, a main dish each, and three glasses of wine in total, came to around 170 dollars. All in all, a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

Ordered their mushroom pasta (Ravioli Zita e Basta) through UberEats. The taste was okay. But halfway through my meal, I bit into what I thought was a rock. After taking it out of my mouth and cleaning it off, I could tell it was a dime-sized piece of concrete (see attached photos). I called the restaurant and rather calmly and understandingly told them about it. They apologized. That was that...or so I thought. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the restaurant where I was questioned about whether the piece of concrete was, in fact, a mushroom. Perhaps I was just confused. It was so comically absurd and such insult to injury. As though I am some blind simpleton who cannot differentiate between a piece of concrete and a fungi. I am now concerned about my tooth. Hoping there is no damage or pain in the morning. Won't be going anywhere near this restaurant again.
