ALO Yoga is a breathe of fresh air. Lots of beautiful clothes. đ Better size selection than most other stores. 98% of the staff are amazing. Welcoming, friendly and attentive. The only issue I had was one associate that was in the changing room area wasnât very helpful. I need a different size of pants and she ignored me, pretending that I wasnât there. I ended up getting the size myself. No better reliance then self reliance! Am I right? Thank you for a great experience. Will be back soon. đ
Update: October 27,2023
Wow was I wrong about my last post. After my recent visit I have lowered my rating for ALO Yoga. The biggest reason why is the manager and I will explain below why.
I went in yesterday because I wanted to exchange a bra top I had purchased previously. I didnât quite fit me properly and it was the largest size they carried for that item. My plan was to look for something else because I like ALO Yogaâs line of clothes. I went around the store picked out some cute clothes to try on. Now normally from my previous visit I was asked if I wanted to try on the clothes and the associate would take the clothes to a room for me, but this wasnât the case this time. When you are carrying a bunch of clothes it can get kind of heavy, so itâs nice to be offered a room so you donât have to carry them around while you are still looking. Anyways,I went into the changing room area an associate looked at me didnât say anything. I stood there thinking she would offer me a room, but she didnât, so I went into a room myself. No worries! I looked outside my room to see she was bent over looking at her phone. Whoops, sorry that I interrupted your social media time. I later found out that she was actually the manager đŹ. I ended up getting nothing and returned the bra top. I will not return again and will encourage others to go to lululemon...
Read moreI came to Pacific Centre to get some items. I was walking by this store, and I have to admit I had never heard of this brand. I looked at the logo, glanced inside, and thought, "What is that?" The store looked intriguing, so I stepped in. I looked around and liked the minimalistic, simple aesthetic combined with the nice design. The sales associates noticed me, they let me take my time to look around, and shortly, a man approached me and offered help to find something I was interested in. I said that I needed leggings. He called a young woman over, and I described what I needed. She gave me several leggings to try. The staff was helpful and attentive, she offered to bring me a size small after seeing me in medium. The small was a perfect fit, she was right. I bought the leggings and am writing this review several weeks later because I wanted to see how the leggings would look and feel after several washes. They look and feel like new, the quality is very goodâfabric, seams, and stitches are all excellent. I am very happy that I discovered this brand. I donât know why they have bad reviews. The quality is impressive, and I am not an easy person to impress. I wear these leggings almost every day for the gym and household chores, though I donât do yoga. I would highly recommend visiting the store and trying the clothing, you will see and feel the quality. They have full-length mirrors near the fitting rooms that give a better view from different angles. I absolutely love my leggings, and I will be...
Read moreI never write bad reviews, but for this i felt compelled.
Such a bad in store experience that felt racially motivated. Everyone who was working on the cashier desk felt like they were miserable and hated their jobs. And me!
I visited this store on Sat 22 Feb, the two people who served me, a guy with black glasses- curly hair and a girl with long straight black hair, were so lazy and rude!
They refused to help me find a product in stock and lied to me that it was out of stock without checking (luckily someone on the floor DID help me and i got the product).
They literally sighed when i asked to swap the product, the reason i felt this attitude was all racially motivated (I'm of Korean heritage)
Both clearly seemed so unhappy with my presence, zero politeness, made me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable with any request I made, also they kept saying "what? Huh?" As if they couldn't understand me everytime i tried to explain what i needed (I speak very clear fluent English) then once i had paid just handed me the receipt without saying a word, barely looking at me. However, when any other person of caucasian descent came in the customer service seemed to switch on. Polite, welcoming and friendly.
It feels so shameful that a huge global brand with it's only store in Vancouver, can have customer service like this?!?! Also one of its main marketed ambassadors is a girl in a Kpop...
