This small park has great potential. This park has a wonderful three-tiered stage backdrop that can be covered for weather perfect for entertainment the space has interesting acoustic characteristics perfect for small performers or just single artists. One unique feature it has stage space that Jets Out onto water fountain pool. Park area also has a back drop of beautiful columns painted with with native art representative of different tribes. I find this park relaxing to visit ,safe in the evenings with adequate people roaming about and doing their own things.Well visited by local people. Park is not for picnics or large family gatherings or dog running around area otherwise good. Thumbs up.

Well the Church clock chimes can be a little annoying sometimes.... Depending on where you're standing in the park for which way the wind is blowing you may notice a slight scent of urine in the air.... It could be that the guy sleeping on the bench may have wet himself. The city gets the fountain going but do not maintain it well. This once proud well-maintained park has now been taken over by the homeless and the residents of the nearby shelter. They are harmless and quite sedated.... And there are those that love people that aren't even there.... Picturesque scene of the church though.... Showing architecture has gone nothing but backwards over the years.

Facing the magnificent Holy Rosary Cathedral, Cathedral Square is an invigorating yet graceful park. Bring a lunch to enjoy in the shade of the magnolias with their astonishing flowers, or relax on a bit of grass under the ginkgo trees. The splash of a fountain fills the park.
