BEIGE NAILS AND SPA — Local services in Vancouver

My new fave salon in Vancouver! I really got interested in natural nail care thru the pandemic when salons were closed and learned of BIAB (builder in a bottle) and how beneficial it can be when wanting to strengthen and grow nails especially after years of damage from extensions/abrasive tools and sloppy techniques from cheaper salons when funds have been tight. I learned Jade had BIAB (which has been super hard for me to track down in Canada - I’m English) and have been coming every 2-3 weeks for the past little while to try new BIAB colours while my nails grew. All manicures have been beautiful and such care/attention to detail has been exhibited by each Technician at this salon. I recently went out of my comfort zone for an upcoming festival and tried chrome and art which I ended up not loving, but the team were quick to get me in and change it with no problem, questions asked or extra funds — and my updated mani is perfect (as usual). I wish i could leave a zero start for this place but google wont let me. I never leave reviews ever but this time i had to. This nail salon is the worst nail salon i have been to. I have been getting my nails done for almost 10 years now. I have been to many different places all over Vancouver and i would have the nails for minimum 3 weeks. Got my nails done on around September 2nd if im not mistaking, about 4 days after one my nails was almost broken 90% of it was falling off and the nail was way too thick for how it should always look and even the shaping was off. Texted them and ask them that im really upset about this happened they offered me a free fix, went there and fix it, they brushed off my nail and made it too think to the point that when i left the salon i was still a block away i moved my hat and my nail broke. Now its been 2 days after they fixed my nails and 4 off them are broken. Asked them to give me a refund and even offered them to keep the tip, they didnt answer my text ane when i called they said no and if i want to fix my nails I have to pay them again. I went to see Rosie for a Gel x, as she is training it was cheaper so it took much longer, but it was done pretty good. I went back to see her again and this time she was a bit rushed and didn’t cut my cuticles like the previous time, even after I asked her. She said “it’s ok” and proceeded to ignore my request. She also left a bigger than normal gap between the cuticles to where the colour starts, so it already looks a bit outgrown:(.
