The deal I received was exceptional: 8-something for a 12’ zaa with unlimited toppings. This was a “manager’s deal” down from a 17-something regular price… maybe the deal continues.
Although, when my intention was to get 2-maybe-3-defs-3 slices from the case, imagine my surprise to discover this deal, and that, oooooo, I’d have to choose from 30 toppings to even order it….oooooooof and wow.
The clerk was curt yet understandably so, working solo and doing 5 things at once - he may have been trying to close-up. When I was only 6 toppings into my potential 30 — I did “ummm” quite a bit — the clerk starts cutting me off: “How would you like to pay?”. … I think to myself…”you slyyyyyyyy foxx, I get it, I yield”.
… (stuff I wouldn’t read as a review reader)
Upon receipt of my zaaa, the clerk asks I leave a Google review … gushing with enthusiasm “please don’t forget” he says. …………… ohhhhhhhh I get it now, that deal was tooo good. I promise I wouldn’t forget. “Review: ON-THE-WAY!” I say.
In short: zaaa clerks get busy zaaaa managers create great deals to get great reviews if you consider getting unlimited toppings, consider thinking before approaching to order AAANNNNNDDDD the zaaaa...
Read moreI haven't had Fresh Slice in awhile as I did not find their pizza any good anymore, especially when compared to other chain competitors, however, I decided to give it a try and give it a second chance.
Ordered online and had an expected pick up time in 25 minutes. When I arrived 25minutes later, my pizza was not ready to pick up and I was told he has yet to make it and it would take 10 more minutes. By the time I picked up my pizza, 50minutes had elapsed since I placed my order. The restaurant was not busy.
Regardless, I put that all behind me and let the pizza speak for itself. Both pizzas that I had ordered had very sparse toppings and taste just alright. Not a lot of sauces on the pizza nor was it spread out very well so my pizza had a thick layer of crust. The crust was bland and tasted very cardboard-y.
Overall, again, disappointed with my experience. Ordering online was easy but not as intuitive as other chains....
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience at this pizza shop that I feel compelled to share. I placed my order through a food delivery app using a promotional discount. Upon arriving at the store to pick up my order, I was surprised and disappointed by the owner's behavior. He made an inappropriate remark, calling me “cheap” for using the app discount — a comment that felt both unprofessional and uncalled for.
To make matters worse, when I requested a small box to take home the remaining slices, he flatly refused, despite it being a reasonable request for any food establishment.
It's unfortunate when a business owner chooses to treat a paying customer this way. Discounts offered through official channels should not lead to judgment or poor treatment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the customer experience improves...
