LuluLemon gets a 4/5 after a Paypal debacle that they corrected. First and foremost do not use Paypal to check out from the LuLuLemon site. I don't even know why they have it as an option on their website.
I had spent about 30 minutes perusing their site as I have done many times in the past, and decided I would use my Paypal account to check out the items. My Paypal is linked to my RBC chequing account.
I checked out, was sent to Paypal to confirm the purchase and then sent back to the LuLuLemon site which promptly told me that an item was not available to purchase. All items were still left in my shopping cart. Paypal however, dinged my RBC account for the the full amount including the missing item.
Since it was the middle of the night I had no recourse but to call LuLuLemon in the morning and ask them to cancel the Paypal transaction, and thereby restoring the money to my chequing account. In the morning I spoke to a female who explained that Paypal takes the money sometimes, and the items will not go through.
Seriously?! So why have Paypal as an option? Also, why is the webmaster at the LuLuLemon site allowing that to occur? This conversation went on for about 30 minutes, as she took my info, and said she would cancel the transaction. I could expect the money back in my account in 3-5 business days. What?! I asked her what could I get in terms of a promo code or gift card for my hour wasted on a botched transaction, telephone call, and delayed funds. She said she couldn't offer me anything. I asked her who could offer me something. She replied that someone would be in touch with me.
Later in the day I received a phone call where once again I explained what happened, and once again it was explained to me that Paypal does that sometimes. It was ridiculous to say the least, that it was a known thing at the LuLuLemon online empire, but they didn't bother to get rid of Paypal on their site. The girl said if I had used a credit card and the item was unavailable, the purchase would not have gone through. So again, I asked for a gift card for my troubles, and I was admonished for asking. I had to explain to this person that my time was money and I had wasted time redoing the order with a credit card, and talking on the phone with them to sort out their mistakes. She consented to a gift card, but I didn't receive it in my email as she said I would.
I went on Twitter and contacted LuLuLemon the next day. I received my gift card in my email within a few hours. Kudos to their Twitter team. Thumbs down to the webmaster, and the two women on the telephone for their silly explanations.
THE BOTTOM LINE: People go shopping online to buy stuff. Not have their money taken with no items being sent to their door. It should just work. PERIOD. But if it does not work, you better compensate...
Read moreBury me in my lulus! Can I just express something here? Lulu lemon... girlfriend, I’m tired of everyone complaining how expensive these things are. I don’t wanna hear it because they are worth every last penny, and here’s why Lu has my biz until the end of time.
So get this, I begrudgingly bought my first pair of lulu lemon pants 5 years ago...you heard right kids...5 years ago. Let me tell you, those tights won’t stop for nothing. They still keep it right, Still keep it tight. I could do lunges In those tights through a nuclear war zone, and wouldn’t you know those tights would still be in “All the right places.”
I bought these pants with every intention of returning them, because get real girlfriend who’s spending $100 on yoga pants... but now my heart just breaks for EVER devaluing these products in the past because of price alone. Ladies you get what you pay for! I will gladly pay $100 if it means my LuLus will love and support my chicken tender lookin a** for 5 consecutive, sweaty years! Y’all I’ve tried it all. I’ve tried every brand, every knock off “Walmart version” Lulu on the market, and honey they can’t be duplicated. I can’t be sold on this, and no other brand will change my mind! I work In sales so I refuse to promote things I don’t truly believe in, but I’m a believer through and through. These leggings lasted longer than my first marriage. (My Lulus and I have been through a lot! The lulu store in St.matthews is literally my happy place! Best and most helpful staff EVER)
HEAR ME GIRL!!! Spend the money and change your life. I don’t know what technology they got going on at the Lulu factory, but they must be hiring out those Keebler elves to make these things. They’re made with magic and mermaid hair! They don’t show sweat, I get minimal wedgies, and they make me look less like a busted can of Pillsbury biscuits. These leggings make me feel kind of like the pink Power Ranger when I’m going hard at the gym. Even at the lulu store, the employees are the most encouraging and positive people I’ve ever met! They will give Chick-fil-A employees a run for their money, because they genuinely love helping their customers feel confident and strong! They are made for women and men who know the difference in qualiy. Every aspect of your company reflects your values, from your store employees to your products.
If you’re still reading this, bless your heart haha! Here’s the deal, no one paid me to promote this, i just love giving credit where its due. Thank you Lulu Lemon for quality products that LAST and last and last! I’ve been blessed by your products, keep doing your thing. I want to see everyone shine in their Lulus!...
Read moreDouble posting until someone is able to help me ~ I had a poor experience with LuLu Lemon due to some fraud that had occurred with my debit card online. There site says that they have a secure privacy act for online ordering, however I logged into my online banking on June 17thth 2022 to find $1,558.27 taken from my account from LULULEMONCOM*_V in 4 transactions right after another. I called the Vancouver head office in Canada and spoke with a rep named Leah who said I was " now her problem" She submitted a ticket to the team and said I would hear back in 24 hours. I called back Sunday as I did not hear back and they told me that the fraud team did not work weekends. I called back on Monday and still nothing and they told me the fraud team had no direct line and they were unable to transfer me. Megan then emailed me at 4:50pm on Monday June 20th and said the order was flagged suspicious by the purchasing team but since the order was delivered there was nothing they could do. They told me to file a police report and talk to my bank, meanwhile I already did both as soon as it happened on Friday June 17th and if they would have answered or got back to me on Friday or even Saturday maybe the order wouldn't have been delivered seeing as it was already flagged by there purchasing department. I then log into my bank on Monday June 20th to see Lu Lu Lemon had refunded me $545.79 and immediately after that withdrawded $545.79 out of my account and took the refund back on June 20th as well. Which not only isn't all the money they owe me but its not even half. I sent a screen shot of this to the team that emailed me which is the fraud GEC team. I received a response from Rashi on June 22nd and he copied and pasted the same email Megan did on June 20th telling me to contact my bank and police department. I am beyond frustrated that there is no one further I can speak to and how poorly this was handled. Not only is this a huge company and I am out $1,558.27 but I sent them the email from my bank fraud claim and police report claim and from there refund that they took back and still no one can help me ?...
