THANK YOU FOR NOT DISCRIMINATING My partner and I visited Vancouver as my cousin had flown in from the Netherlands to meet us there. She was stunned at the level of irrational fear here and that there were no restaurants we could dine in without VaxPasses.

This is not the case in The Netherlands —worst case scenario is a rapid-test (paid by the government) before you enter a restaurant, which incidentally has long been done away with as it has in pretty much the rest of the “democratic” world.

Except in British Columbia, of course, with its punitive and vindictive government who are about 18 months behind the science.

Thank you Corduroy for inviting us in to your cosy establishment and for the really great meal and warm and accepting atmosphere. The pizzas, truffle fries and salads were really terrific. It was just such a great experience all the way around. You made not only our day but our year.

It was so nice not be treated like a second-class citizen for an hour in the midst of a fearful and hysterical city in which the majority of people continue to wear masks—indoors and out—even though that mandate was lifted and there is no logical or objective reason to continue wearing one anyway.

I know this bold and valiant step has cost you folks your business licence and likely also substantial legal expenses and most certainly the attention of a vengeful government.

Thank you so much for standing up for the rights of all Canadians and for giving us the opportunity to live like normal human beings...

Pizza Perfection and a Party to Remember!

We just had a blast at Corduroy for my birthday with a group of 40.

First off, pizza – absolute perfection! The crust was just right, toppings were generous & the fact that they use organic ingredients sold me from the start. Legendary. Each bite was a flavor explosion, and I'm still dreaming about it. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. My oldest came a little late & was happy that he got to try the pizza but the best part was the chicken fettuccini! He said it was so tasty.

Now, let's talk about the party vibe. With 40 people in tow, the atmosphere was buzzing. Corduroy handled our massive crew like pros, making the celebration feel seamless. The energy was infectious, and everyone left with smiles on their faces.

And can we talk about the house wine? Fabulous is an understatement. It complemented the pizza's & appies like a dream. The perogies & wings were spot on too! My grandma ordered more perogies.

We will host more get togethers here in the near future! Thank you...

I recently returned to Vancouver and was excited to revisit my favorite pizza place, where I used to go every week. However, I was disappointed to find that the prices have skyrocketed, and the quality has declined. The dough, which used to be delicious and rich, now lacks flavor and is of poor quality. The toppings on the pizza are sparse and lacking in variety. They even put unconventional sauces like balsamic dressing on top, which doesn't belong on a pizza.

The cozy atmosphere that I used to enjoy has disappeared. When I visited in March, it was very cold inside, and I had to keep my jacket on.

Too bad I won't get my favorite pizza anymore. I truly miss the real Corduroy pizza from the other place on 16th.

On a positive note, I appreciate how they deal with political topics and that they don't...
