After our magical visit on Bowen Island and having a group of Orcas swim in front of us in all their beauties, I found Kate, a lovely and talented artist at the Grandville island market, that happen to have such incredible pebble pendant necklace with a powerful story about the Orcas rubbing their big bellys on this secret beach off Vancouver Island. Unknown of why they do, but according to her friend, it's a ritual that they repeat. She makes an amazing neckless pendant that represent this ritual with the rock pebbles.

Morning Moon jewelry immediately caught my eye at the Granville Island market. Not only is her jewelry exactly my style, the craftsmanship is absolutely impeccable. She had with her the most beautiful moonstone necklace I’ve ever seen. I adore moonstone and am always on the lookout for it. The stone was very uniquely set in the necklace and had the highest quality moonstone with the most amazing blue fire I’ve ever seen.
