Good prices but they discriminate a lot. I just had a humiliating experience where one of the shop keepers ran after me to ask where I put the items I was holding. Which by the way, I put back on the shelves since there was long lines and I didn’t have the time to wait (I had some refrigerated items in my hand which I could have just placed on the counter but I figured I’d put perishable items away). I offered to have my bags checked because she looked pretty accusatory and kept saying she’s doing her job and didn’t say anything about how it was a mistake, nor did she offer any sort of explanation as to why she ran down the street, or address the fact she made an honest mistake.

Often there is slow service, many of their clients are older and it is understandable but today was just one of many times where it was the cashier who was rude. I took the line with one person in front me and waited almost 5 minutes for the staff to slow play the whole thing until the previous costumer had come back with something. Her first purchase was complete. The cashier could have run me through while waiting. She chose not to and never had the courtesy to say' just a minute(s)'. When I asked her what was up, she got really defensive, really fast. I just left my things (about $30 worth) on the counter and left. Customers shouldn't have to put up with this poor behaviour. The cashiers are probably paid very little but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have some minimum amount of courteousness. I will go back there again but not...
