This is the place I visited for my first post-pandemic hair cut back in April 2022 and I have never since looked back. Shauna was my first hairstylist and she was extremely nurturing towards my hair and understood how to address my natural black wavy hair that I hadn't styled/colored. She is a great hairstylist with extensive knowledge and she worked on my long hair to give me a mellow cut that I was looking for alongside covering my premature greying. During the same visit my partner got his long shoulder length hair chopped to shorter hair by Sayy and she did a great job as well. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming we spent a lovely afternoon. 6 months later, the experience has remained stellar and has only gotten better with every visit. My recent most haircut was with Sayy since I needed a transformational haircut for some big changes in my life, at a short notice which Sayy was able to accommodate. And she was equally as spectacular as Shauna. Say understood what exactly I was looking for when I decided to chopy hair for a much shorter length than I had had in years. She worked on giving me a part-ish wolf cut and added several layers. Additionally she knew exactly how to work with my hair texture and gave me some amazing tips to continue keeping up with my waves/part curls. She basically converted my nun-veil looking hair into a frilly dress which adds so much bounce to my step. It was the exact change I was looking for and I can't wait to go back for my next appointment to do something even more drastic with respect to my hair color.

I've been looking for a new stylist for a while and I think I found her today! Shauna helped me with a huge mane of hair. Crista and Say were so friendly and helped Shauna and me to donate my hair (yay!) and take before and after photos. The rest of the experience with Shauna was so great. I am not a very glamorous person, so my biggest issue at hair salons is that I feel like I soooo don't fit in there. I'm a very social person but in a salon I always feel awkward and uncomfortable and like my efforts to make conversation fail. But Shauna is so kind! She is really down to earth, easy to talk to, and also easy to just be silent and relax around without feeling weird haha. She cleaned up my hair beautifully--the other thing I really liked about her is that she listened to input about my comfort level and my lifestyle and gave me a really realistic cut and style from there. Sometimes I get a cut and it's styled with so many products and so much effort and it looks GREAT in the salon... but doesn't really do anything for me afterwards, when I'm the one styling (let's be honest--not styling) my hair every day. This cut will look really really nice just air drying or with the minimal blow drying I sometimes can fit in. I feel like I look like myself today, having gotten my hair done, rather than looking like someone else who regularly does her hair. I appreciate that all so much.
