The worst customer service provided by one of Pallet’s employees this Sunday morning. A young man, blonde hair and glasses.
I stopped by with my son after kids class near by for a coffee as we often did. While I was sitting in the corner area chatting with a couple, who also had a toddler with them, the employee of Pallet came by and gave us the meanest face ever as he was “fixing the chairs”. We were a bit taken back, but thought perhaps he was having a bad day.
I got my son dressed and he headed towards the exit before me while I was putting my jacket on. That Pallet employee yet again gave me the “look” and even shook his head. At that point I did confront him and asked if we had a problem. He replied that he didn’t say anything!! I stated that it was the WORST experience of my life and if he was so disturbed by having kids in the shop they should put “Adults Only” sign. Simply ridiculous!!!
All my previous experiences were good and I kept coming back. But as they say “Your business is only as good as your last interaction with your clients”.
Owner of this place should invest in Customer Service training. The staff is young perhaps they don’t...
Read moreThis was my first time to visit this coffee shop as I was working in this neighbourhood. I saw some good or bad comments about this coffee shop. I tried the other branches at other two locations. They were pretty good, so I decided to try this one on west broadway.
I came here around 1pm. There was some customers. No lineup. It was great! A barista at the cashier greeted me with a pleasant smile and asked for my order. I ordered a cheddar cheese scone and a cup of 12oz latte. They cost me $8.05. The price was average and reasonable. The scone was soft but it would be nice if a barista could heat it up a little bit, so it would be warm and fresh again. The latte was smooth and had a good balance of milk and coffee. I liked it.
The ambience was comfortable but I did not have a chance to sit, eat and relax here. Overall, I had a great...
Read moreIt was 11:30 am when i walked-in to get a coffee and meet a client. The place reeked from smell of raw cut onion that right away started to burn my eyes. I decided to sit outside to save myself from the smell. The seat was literary beside the window and yet i could not obtain wifi for my presentation. Didn't have choice to sit inside as the smell of the raw onion was really bad. So i just left my coffee and went cross street to Blenz to meet my client in there. Writing this as this is my second experience with their raw onion smell which gets out of hand. Is this a coffee place or Bistro? and even if it's both, Bistro and cafe's try to control the smell not to bother their guest. I mentioned it to the employee behind the counter about my lack of access to internet and the reason i decided to sit outside, but she just looked at me with...
