Kabul Farms Supermarket — Local services in Vaughan

This Afghan store officially let Afghan customers cut the waiting line infront of others.

I went this morning October 2, 2021 to this store to get my meat among other items. There were 3 customers head of me at the butcher so I waited patiently. When I was next in line to be served, a group of Afghan customers came in and immediately cut the waiting line and started talking to one of the butchers in their language. The butcher started serving them, I interjected and explained to the butcher that I am next in line. He tried to push them through by saying they are getting pre cut meat and it will be quick. I insisted they are not taking my turn and I too want pre cut meat so he backed out and told them to wait. These customers went to a side door and talked to someone inside. I am still waiting in line 45 minutes now. Another butcher came and started serving these Afghan customers. I interjected again but this time he ignored me completely and continued to serve them. I went to the cachier and asked for the manager to complain, the cashier pointed to a guy by the name of Tony who was actually standing there all the time during that whole situation and not saying a word i.e approving the behaviour. At this point I decided not to give them my business and went to another butcher. I also left my fully loaded shopping cart in the middle of the store, enjoy your time returning all the items...

We used to come here a lot for fresh meat, however, over the years, unfortunately the customer service and variety of products has deteriorated.

Recently I had called to check whether a specific brand of spice was available (only Kabul Farms across the GTA carry this brand).

The lady on the phone said "yes we have many in stock."

I showed up only half hour later driving all the way during rush hour and there was no such spices in stock. I asked the lady who presumably was the one who answered my call just half hour earlier and she ended up making an excuse "oh we were so busy today and there is none of that product left".

Sad. Will not be coming here anymore, unfortunately. If you don't care about your customers this is what happens. I am not so sure how long this business will last. I hope it can...

The cashier was horrible to me. I was standing In line for a long time minding my business. The lady in front of me was buying a million things and I could already feel the negative energy as I am waiting in line. The lady in front of me was casually having a conversation with the cashier and the cashier scanned my items I kept telling her that those items were mine and she continued to ignore me on purpose. The lady in front of me interfered and I told her to please not interfere because I’m not here to argue. I’m here to buy my groceries and leave. Will not be coming back. People nowadays are very ignorant and entitled and I will not be accepting such...
