Catawampus Fudge & Funk — Local services in Victoria

This is the cutest hidden gem in Victoria! Where else can you find racks of beautifully styled women’s clothing… many in linen and many on sale; right next to a window filled with so many delicious flavours of fresh homemade fudge? Right here at Catawampus Fudge and Funk at 1208 Wharf Street just beyond the big Fresh Fudge sign. You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a unique treasure or accessory such as watches or scarves or very special whimsical clocks. yes, some with Cats as the main theme. The whole store is a feast for your eyes, so spend some time looking at each display or you might miss out! But by all means try the fudge, the many varieties of fudge from the usual chocolate and maple walnut to salted maple or salted chocolate peanut along with many other combinations. We were pleasantly surprised when another customer was so smitten with the fudge that she bought us a generous piece in order to sample it! Needless to say we came away with a selection of fudge that I couldn’t resist to taste on the way home. If you are a visitor or wish to show your visitors a cool little shop, this is worth the trip, then when you exit to the right, there is a set of stairs that take you right down to the harbour walkway to continue your tour....

After having a meal at Finn's next door I really wanted some sweets, and luckily there was time on the meter to stop in at Catawampus! O-M-God, the fudge was FANtastic and flaaavourful! And it wasn't super sweet like most fudges are; it was just enough ;) . It was also very creamy and divine. I got the salted caramel and butterscotch fudge with vanilla mixed in and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm SO good! There were also oodles of cute and funky knickknacks, jewelry, clothes, and wall clocks inside as well. I'd HIIIIIGHly recommend you go check this...

Every time I am in Victoria, I must visit this shop. There are unique treasures and amusing trinkets everywhere just waiting to be discovered. Tammy is a true gem. She genuinely cares for her customers as if they are dear friends. Please make sure to also pick up some of her delicious fudge to take with you. So many mouthwatering choices.
