DUER — Local services in Victoria

The store is nice. Duer products are great. I am disappointed with my visit today. I went in to pick up 2 pants that were to be hemmed and ready according to the sales associate over a week ago.

When I went in, the associate on duty could not find them. She then asked if I had received a phone call to pick them up. I had not but I told here that the pants were scheduled for pick up today. She said that I should have waited for a phone call. Again, I told her that I was told by the associate who sold them to me that they would be ready today. She then said that they had been busy and had no time to go pick them up.

Perhaps they had been busy earlier though it was a very rainy day, but they were not busy at that moment. In fact she and another associate were leaning on the counter doing nothing. The store was empty with the exception of the two associates and myself.

So, the 350.00 spent on pants and 24.00 for hemming that was scheduled to be done today seems like a waste of money and time.

I should have stuck with getting my Duers online or from Outlooks. Outlooks is always on time and exceptionally...

I see a fair amount of negative reviews about the staff and the shopping experience at this particular location, and I was weary to go in, but I was in dire need of some good quality jeans and had heard good things about the product.

My experience was absolutely stellar. As soon as I approached the men's jeans section, a dude asked what I was after. I explained, and he handed me two styles that he thought I'd like... and he was right, I liked both so much that I had a hard time deciding which to go with. I mentioned that to the woman who was in the changing area, and she recommended one of them based on my style. I've worn them a couple of times now and I love them. Quality is amazing and they definitely feel like a step up from the Levi's I've been wearing the past couple of decades. I went with the Performance Denim+. We have tried to shop here 3 times since the store opened.

My husband already has Duer pants. They fit great. We would like to buy another pair. But I don’t think we will ever come back to this store.

The hostile, disinterested attitude of the staff permeates every inch of the store.

As we struggle to identify the products, I wait for staff to come over and explain the sizing and style choices. Zero help. Instead I get the feeling that, as customers, we are more of a nuisance. Are we interrupting something?

I wait to see if a sales associate helps my husband, as he comes out of the fitting room looking for a different size, nope!

The vibe is so unwelcoming and frankly, judgmental.
