Read moreA lovely cafe that serves the best cappuccino Iâve ever had.
Walking in, youâre greeted by smiling staff, great music from their vinyl collection, and myriad lovely aromas. Hey Happy is bright, clean, and well decorated. The staff were friendly, and the service snappy.
I enjoyed the aforementioned cappuccino along with an exceptionally tasty parfait. The espresso was complex and flavourful like the best light roasts Iâve tried, but didnât leave the usual bitter or sour aftertaste. Although we planed to eat our food there, the staff ended up giving us our food to go and we had to go eat our sandwiches standing in market square as all the outdoor seating was wet. Not a very positive experienceâŚ.
UPDATE- I private messaged Hey Happy as per their request they continued to defend their position on treating customers this way. Ironically the previous post is of a customer giving a glowing review with a photo doing exactly what my family and I were doing when asked to leave. For a self proclaimed inclusive environment, our experience doesnât feel very inclusive. Hopefully in the future they can focus on treating all customers with value, even...
