If you think you know about chocolate you need to meet David Mincey. His passion for the industry and the issues in sourcing bean to bar chocolate has been quite the journey. We get to experience his far range of talents from chef at his own fabulous restaurant to his new location of The Chocolate Project in the sleek Atrium. He is a wealth of information that can only deepen your love for the chocolate you purchase and share. Let him assist you in selecting the perfect product for your next gift, dinner party or indulgence. They have over 350 bars from 60 artists from various parts of the world. Entirely deceived for a sale! I was scrolling TikTok last week & this company came thru my feed. I was intrigued so immediately called & told David what I was looking for. I asked him with all his imports if he had the viral Fix Dubai pistachio chocolate bar. He confirmed to me that he did. I drove down from Nanaimo yesterday & he sold me this thing & something else. Both are completely subpar & $50 for 2 small chocolate bars. He doesn’t sell the Dubai viral Fix chocolate bar! I can’t even eat this thing - yuck!! It was so thin when he passed it to me & I questioned him a second time in store & he reassured me. Does this look anything remotely close to the online images of the stuffed Dubai viral pistachio, phyllo & tahini...

My mother and I had a excellent experience at this store which we happened upon by chance in the Public Market. We will certainly be back. Sid provided outstanding service and willingness to share his expertise and knowledge about the chocolate industry. He enriched our experience with his explanations regarding the different chocolate manufacturers and farmers, conveyed in an easy, engaging professional manner - which left us craving a greater understanding of the chocolate industry all around us, but which we rarely stop to better understand. The products in the chocolate boutique make a perfect gift. The selection was so well curated and offers a treat for the senses. The perfect Thankyou-token or...

Yes the chocolate, but the flowers! I ordered floral arrangements for a wake and they were beautiful, arranged with excellent artistic taste and obvious enjoyment for making beautiful arrangements. The flowers are also local and all my arrangements included the containers as part of the price, and I got an excellent deal too! Go dried flowers for your important events. These arrangements are wonderful because you can keep them after, and convenient because you can order them long before other flowers. If you have an event, I couldn't recommend these floral services more than I already have.

A retail store that curates chocolate that has standards. The shop is pretty small but jam packed with many variety of chocolate. There weren't much sampled. I did like that they had some local chocolate along with ones from different countries. A good place for ethical/sustainable chocolate souvenirs. The fig treat that they sold wasn't worth it. I did enjoy all the other chocolate bars! The worker was helpful with answering questions.
