Italian Food Imports — Local services in Victoria

Consistently good service!! I bought a moka pot from them and love it so much that it travels with me. They helped me chose which size/style/brand to buy after I was disappointed with a cheapo one I'd bought at Capital Iron (and had a heck of a time returning!). While on vacation my little coffee pot got fried when someone unknowingly lit the burner under it and left it for who knows how long. I tried endlessly to find replacement parts (or ever just a replacement pot!) online while I was away and had zero luck :( When I returned home I brought my sad broken pot into them and within 3 minutes they'd replaced the toasted seal and filter and ordered a new handle, and brought my moka pot back to life! As promised, they called today, my handle is in, exactly when they said it would be. So pleased with all of the excellent service and the sincerity with which they treat...

This is hard to write as this place has great food. I feel really alienated right now though, first the woman handed my sandwich to the wrong person and when I corrected her she loudly exclaimed in a crowded deli "YOU'RE JAY???" just because I'm a female with a males name. I need you to understand how embarrassing and alienating that was for me. As someone that has struggled with identity, that was not an example of a safe space. I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it but intent doesn't negate impact and I've got a sour taste in my mouth which is unfortunate because it wasn't from the food as the food is really good. I didn't ask to be ostricised today, I just wanted a yummy sandwich :( it'll be a while before I come back. The fact I would consider going back speaks to the quality...

INCREDIBLE!! i was having a crummy-ish day, until i came through these doors.

For ~$11cad I had the most lovely sandwich - my day became brighter, a pep was injected into my step. I LOVE IT HERE. I ordered:

1. ultimate meatball - meatballs perfectly soft and tender, topped with melty cheese that coddles the insides of my tummy with love and care.
2. maffioso - The meats were high quality, laid upon the most tender foccia bread…the complex flavor had me wondering - how was this $11?!?!?!?!?

I will probably be eating here each day i am in victoria. and you should too!!!!
