Review 4: EVIDENCE OF MICE!!! I found 3 bags of bagels that a mouse had chewed through the bag and into a bagel (photos of 2 attached). I found others bags that looked like they had been scratched or bitten open. I passed the 3 bags on to a staff member. Co-op either has a mouse living in their store, or whoever is stocking the bagels is doing a terrible job at quality control. I did not buy any bread from here.
You can see from my past reviews that Co-op doesn't care about food safety, and now it has escalated from mis-labelled food and food that can be tampered with, to pests!!!
Review 3: Co-op demonstrates, yet again, that they donāt care about food safety. Clamshell sandwich container has the price sticker on the wrong side, can open and tamper without tearing the sticker. How do I know I didnāt just eat a tampered with sandwich? I donātā¦
Review 2: Ham & cheese sandwich, no cheese. They also mis-labelled roast beef and smoked beef. What else are they mis-labeling!? If you have allergies, donāt trust anything that Co-op makes⦠They also donāt know how to spell āapplesāā¦
Reply: Maybe you could just make the sandwiches properly the first time, so I don't have to drive there and back, eat half my sandwich to discover the other half is a dud, drive there and back again, and use up my entire lunch break cleaning up your mistake! Plus, how do you know a sandwich off the shelf will be any better?
Review 1: Bought a pre-made chicken salad sandwich, one half had one measly piece of chicken. Usually, these are a sloppy mess, today, they decided to put...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've brought my dog (medium Springer Spaniel) in the cart on her leash plenty of times to this location. She is not a service dog however I've never had an issue once since I've been living in this area (8 months). I've called in advanced to make sure she was allowed as well and staff has said no problem, as other people being their small dogs in.
But today I was approached by management and told I cannot have her in with me. She said there was one complaint about her this morning? I wonder what the complaint was... As I had about 3 different thrilled people telling me how beautiful and well behaved she is.. Perhaps it was the deli staff member with the gray hair and beard net. Older man as he was giving me the worst stare down...
I understand if she's not a licensed service dog it is policy but if you have a policy as such it's important that it's forced with everyone every time.
Co-op claims to be such a family oriented store. Well my dog is my child and we didn't feel very welcomed.
All in all have never had any issues. Staff is always great and the manager who approached me was reasonable it just sucked as this is the one store I can actually bring my dog with me as a single dog mom who has to get dog walking and groceries done in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIs more expensive than surrounding grocery stores (Walmart and Safeway) with a more limited selection, and no reason to be. Co-op Gold products are inferior to Safeway Signature products. If Co-op does have a sale, Walmart will price match. The parking lot is also bizarre, since the only entrance is on the right side of the building, 3/4 of parking spots are far from the doors. Don't see why they even bothered to reno it.
Edit: Further discounting stars due to sparse staff who are difficult to find and often don't know where things are (or if they carry them at all), and for not updating their Google maps listing when they decide to...
