Four Seasons Chinese Food — Restaurant in Winnipeg

4 Seasons, has always been my "Lets treat ourselves" place. But, having ordered just recently, it just made it up front and center for the best food in town! Starts with a great interactive website, one which you can save your favorite dishes or reorder your "staples". Of course you will never get a day, when the wait for your food in less than two hours. Never mind New Years where you have to order DAYS in advance. The Beef Mokuaweoweo, is great, also the Yangste Noodles with shrimp, and you get alot of shrimp. The revised #35 with Black bean is also very good. You can not go wrong with these. I am looking forwarded to adding more to my favorite list. This nice thing is that they call back, after you place your order to confirm, and the woman who works there, made sure I knew what I was ordering, (like the BBQ Pork Chow Mein, is mostly bean sprouts, which I did not know) and if I needed any other sauces. I am very lucky to live within their delivery area... ONLY TAKEOUT...

Used to be great...I live 2 minutes away and was our go to at least once a week...however the portions have shrunk to minuscule, [I have no issue with prices going up over time, however keep the portions the same size!] It appears to me that most dishes are 20-25% smaller since I started going there 9-10 years ago ... the menu rarely changes, their veggies in most dishes are simply celery and onions, and the woman who runs the place is very loud. I don't need my name address and phone number shouted out when I pick up my order...I am standing a foot and a half away..I don't appreciate my information being shared with strangers, so to speak..I asked her 5 times to desist, and each time it's the same...It had its day, however unfortunately it seems, in my opinion, that greed took precedence over the pride of having been...

Myself and a few friends had been going to four seasons for years and the quality has gone downhill as well as the portions , The last 2 orders from four seasons the containers are only half to 3/4 full at best ..We have decided to go elsewhere and portions are much larger and price a little less and quality of the food is right on par with 4 seasons..Hope they decide to fill those containers for there customers or they may see more people going elsewhere ..Used to be 1 of the best,But lately others have past them ..When you pay 100.00 or more you expect to get what you pay for .. When you open a container and it is not full it is a little depressing ..Maybe Cathy should go in the kitchen and put in that extra scoop in each...
