This is my go to Walmart as it's close to home but it has been quite annoying to shop here for the past couple of years. First of all the no backpack policy is ridiculous, while it's understandable why it exists, many people who take the bus might travel with a backpack, where should they leave it? I personally bring one with me and now have to leave it in the car and it's such a hassle. I always buy a lot of food on my weekly run and I put some heavy stuff in the bag as well as my wallet, phone and car keys but now everytime I have to figure out where to keep those things safely. Secondly,it's been a while since COVID has calmed down, during COVID I was told by cashiers we are not allowed to bag for you but now,I have to run around like a headless chicken trying to pack my stuff before the next customer comes and it's hard when you have a cart full. The cashier would just stand there and stare into space, how is that good service? It's part of a cashiers job. If they do help, which I appreciate, they end up piling stuff that I can barely lift the bag because they put cans of beans and juices all in one bag instead of dividing heavy and light. Please train them better. Thirdly,I would say that some staff members have really really strong BO scent. I used to work at walmart and I recall they had some policy related to dress code (which by the way is not being followed at this branch almost at all) which included that associates need to maintain proper hygiene. It sometimes smells so strongly that you have to catch your breath. Please also train your associates to have better social awareness, putting carts blocking the shelves and chatting with their friends in the middle of a sales floor while blocking customers from passing and not paying attention is off putting. Looking at all the other reviews,I don't really have issues with the store not having stock, except salmon which I regularly buy. Came in one Friday,no salmon, came in 2 days later no salmon. But otherwise it's actually more organized than a lot of walmarts I have seen so im...
Read moreI just went through Walmart to grab a couple things before it closed, as I had just finished work. I knew I had 10 minutes and I only needed a few items. I was followed by a man not in uniform and had no name tag, only to be confronted by him and was told to go to the check out imitatly cause they were already closed. I replied that I still had 5 minutes to shop', He told me "no we're closed". There was no announcement even saying there was 5 minutes till close until 2 minutes after he told me walmart was already closed. I grabbed my cat food and was heading to he checkout when he confronted me again!! He told me to head to the checkout now. I was already on my way and i still had 2 minutes! I felt completely harassed!!! I asked why he's following me and pointed out the actual time and asked him for his name. He then proceeded to walk away very fast and ignored my request for his name... I felt humiliated and disrespected as I tried to get his name from other staff members and apparently they just knew him as a "floor walker" This week had already been a complete nightmare and this made me...
Read moreI went to walmart to buy car seat covers and found that the box was missing one, then I returned it and bought a new one. It was also missing multiple pieces. So I returned it to customer service where they tried to refuse to refund it and one employee accused me of stealing car seat covers multiple times despite anyone being able to pull them out of the box very easily, which I demonstrated to the employee (if you’ve ever been to a walmart before you would know that people mess up boxes and products all the time) after I argued with them for over an hour they agreed to do an exchange but tried to tell me I wouldn’t be able to return the item for any reason even if it wasn’t compatible with my car. I argued with them again over how illegal it is to pull that when all I wanted was the complete product I had already paid for, eventually they gave in and told me they would make an “exception” as if they weren’t just doing the bare minimum of the law. The people running customer service should be fired and so should the manager who encouraged them. This happened at 3:00 pm November 3 2024...
