I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with this Subway . The complete lack of adherence to basic hygiene practices, specifically the failure to change gloves when making new sandwiches, is both appalling and concerning.
During my recent visit on 12th July around 3:30 pm, I observed an employee at this establishment handling multiple sandwiches without changing their gloves in between. This blatant disregard for proper food handling and hygiene is absolutely unacceptable. As a concerned customer, I kindly requested the employee to change their gloves twice, but my requests were completely ignored.
Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to proper hygiene protocols should be a top priority for any food establishment, particularly those handling customer's food. As a health-conscious customer, I consider it vital to voice my concerns regarding this particular Subway branch.
Upon entering the store, I noticed the employee behind the counter wearing gloves that appeared to be soiled and unclean. Knowing the potential risks associated with cross-contamination, I politely asked the staff member to change their gloves before making my sandwich. Shockingly, my request was blatantly ignored, and the employee proceeded to handle my food without taking any precautionary measures.
This disregard for my simple request not only undermined my confidence in the cleanliness of the establishment but also raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene practices being followed. It is essential for food service establishments to prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to hygiene standards and addressing customer concerns promptly.
I find it disconcerting that the staff at this particular Subway location showed such a lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. It is their responsibility to ensure that customers' requests related to hygiene and food safety are met. By failing to do so, they not only put my health at risk but also displayed a lack of regard for basic hygiene protocols.
As a result of this negative experience, I am hesitant to return to this Subway branch or recommend it to others. It is my hope that the management will take this feedback seriously and reevaluate their hygiene practices, ensuring that incidents like this do not occur in the future. Customers deserve to feel confident in the cleanliness and safety of the food they consume, and it is the responsibility of Subway to uphold...
Read moreI usually donât like to write reviews, but today I felt it needed to be done. First and foremost, the customer service was terrible.
I had ordered two subs and had two active deals in my account â one was 30% off on weekends, and the other was âBuy one footlong, get a 6-inch for just $1.99.â I informed the staff about the deals, and they confirmed that both were active and showing in their system. However, they said they couldnât apply them due to a system error.
Is it the customerâs fault if your system isnât working properly?
Then, a Filipino lady who seemed to be the supervisor tried to act like she was helping but actually did nothing. She couldnât communicate properly in English, and honestly, I donât understand how she is a supervisor there. She even called her manager and spoke to them in her native language right in front of me.
After wasting about 20 minutes, she came back and said, âWe canât do anything.â
At that point, I had two options: either leave without buying anything or pay for the subs that were already prepared. I chose to pay because I didnât want to waste food â after all, we all work hard for it.
Iâm disappointed that they didnât even offer a small discount for their mistake and system failure. Please show some respect and value for your customers and their time.
Next time, Iâll be going to the Sage Creek or St. Maryâs...

I'm so glad I was getting food for someone else cause I can't even bother to give this location any of my personal money. Other locations are nowhere near as terrible as this one. Actually I can list a few other locations in Winnipeg I would actually recommend people goto because of the difference in quality service( let me finish by saying the attitude of employees has never been in question but I have heard numerous complaints about this location not just by my ownself) I wasn't even going to post this but Google asked my opinion
