I’m beyond disappointed with the terrible service we received at this jewelry shop in Winnipeg. We took our engagement ring in for a simple repair, and what we got back was a wrecked ring that looked nothing like the original. The craftsmanship was shoddy, and it was clear that the work wasn’t done properly. “The owner even admitted and said she didn’t communicate to the jeweller what needed to be done” First red flag. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly condescending when we tried to address the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner spoke down to us like we were the problem, making the whole situation even more frustrating. “Even telling me no point looking at a ring here for the groom” We ended up taking our ring elsewhere to be fixed properly, and it’s in perfect condition now. The damage they caused was not only physical but emotional—this is supposed to be a symbol of our love, and we almost lost faith in that because of their incompetence and poor attitude. Save yourself the trouble, avoid this shop, well avoid the owner, and go somewhere where they actually value customer service and craftsmanship. It was sad to see how embarrassed the employees were on behalf of their own boss, some even walking away from the situation. BIG...

Truly disappointed. Over the years I've bought a few pieces (earring, necklaces) from this shop for my partner, which she loves, so we were excited about the prospect of Hilary making a custom engagement ring.

I contacted the store through email, then called to set something up as per the store's request. When we arrived the day of the appointment, Hilary was not there and staff did not seem to be aware of the appointment. I get it, it happens. They called her and said she was tied up at the bank and should be back in 20mins, which she was. The conversation about a custom ring was distracted and seemingly she more so wanted to show us what she had already.

We emailed after the meeting to see how the design was going and no response after a month and a half. A month later I wrote again detailing our experience and disappoinment and a month later, no response. You lost a customer that really...

This store has many beautiful, quality designs as well as superior customer service. Every time I'm in Winnipeg, I visit Hilary Druxman Design to purchase a few 'souvenirs'. Even though it takes me forever to go through the store and decide, the salespeople are always pleasant and patient! It's a great team! This year, I needed to organise a gift for my sister from overseas. I left it late (whoops!) so the item I'd chosen was sold out. However, that wasn't a problem. I was advised that they could prepare and deliver it for me before Christmas. And, they have. Thank you!
