I've been shopping here for 2 years. The regular staff is always amazing however the female owner/manager is not. I regularly come in to buy Country Perogy Shop products and I noticed they were all frosted over and had white freezer burn. I asked very politely about a discount and she said "no, your wrong. There's no discount" I was shocked at her tone and abruptness.... And explained why it was freezer burned. In the end she said "if you don't like it buy it somewhere else". I left feeling really insulted. Outside of the store she approached me again and repeated "if you don't like it shop somewhere else!" So I called around and I'm happy I did.... A hidden gem for quality meat and specialty products! I was so happy to find chicken hearts and beef liver here — something that’s been very important for me and hard to find elsewhere. Marcello Meat offers a great selection of different cuts, both common and specialty, and everything looks fresh and well-organized.

They also have a great variety of cheeses and other deli products. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices were fair for the quality.

I have been attending this location for nearly 10 years, it is run by a very good owner, this is displayed in his commitment to ensure long weekends are provided to his staff for holidays and the quality is consistent.

Once in a while if he (Marcello) is working and my son is with me he will offer up a treat from the front counter. He doesn't have to do that, but it's an excellent display of character onto family values from where I stand.
