Vanellis — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Little while ago went to get pizza for our daughter. We stood at the counter waiting to be greeted. There was only one employee working and she was in the middle of taking pizzas out of the oven. So we waited patiently, as to not bother her ( no one wants burnt pizza). Once she took the last one out, we thought " great she'll come ask for our order". Well were we ever wrong. Instead of coming to greet us, she started to make more pizzas!! Never lifted her head to even say hello, I'll be with you in a moment....No acknowledgement that a paying customer was waiting to be seen. We stood there for over 5 minutes before waking away and going to another restaurant that actually cared and valued us as a customer. This is not the first issue we've heard of from this location, northe first time something has happened. The head office does not care either as there has been no response to this issue. Horrible experience!! My order got messed up and I paid for it politely, an employee who came from the back drinking a Starbucks with “extra dragonfruit” put his hand in my food I kept quiet. He then gave me attitude when there was confusion over the fact I had asked for a meal.. What really matters is that he then came from behind his counter to follow me and my mother to the other side of the food court and tell me how he didn’t appreciate me telling him to wash his hands. He then verbally assulted me and my mother and lied and said said he wasn’t even working....

I would avoid eating here completely. Food is bland, chicken is rubbery and tastes disgusting, and they have such a sad excuse for garlic bread, which you would think would be good because it's Italian fast food. I've also had a past experience where a friend had found a fly in her salad .. do their cleanliness standards exist? I've witnessed the quality of the food from this restaurant diminish for years, and have been always giving it another chance. Now I won't ever...
